And im on the ask for a change.  Could I please have any ticket money and raffle ticket money asap as I need to make sure i have money for DJ. Also dont forget (not that you would) that we also  each donate a bottle on the night for the raffle.  Also if you havent given heidi hamper money could you do that as i know she has laid out a lot of money...

Anyway, this is possibly the last do we will have at Nutberry so I really hope we can make it the best one yet. Nutberry has a lot of great memories and I personally would like to add to them. We are not sure we are able to hire it anymore. Booo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have the boys end of season bash for the 5th July round the hall... Tickets are £4 and adult £2 Child, players free of course. 

I will be organsising raffle tickets and give them all out next week. Just sell what you can.  We want to try to cover the hall, DJ and all the summer tournaments. These are an average of £40 a tournament and we have already entered 4.

Raffle will be Marks Hamper, Organised by Heidi, so please give her your fivers asap)  Body shop gift hamper and dont know what else. Got some old garden chairs that might be a good third prize....

Let me know asap how many tickets you would like.  The hall holds 110.

Hi all, hope you are all recovering well. Thank you for making yesterday so special for the boys and the families.

Glad we stuck to the "no drink on the coach" rule.......

There is no game the weekend and it looks as though the playoff will be put back to the 18th May, not 100% sure yet, so Kev has let you all have a nice weekend off for good behaviour. Lots of lay ins TRACY... There will definately be training or a friendly the week after.

Also, could you all over the next couple of weeks return the trophies to me as Mick wants them presented again at the Thurrock presentation. Someone might have two as well. Dont worry if the leg is broke I will superglue them.  Also, I need ticket money for the presentation asap. £4 adult £2 child, players free. Sorry to nag.

Firstly, there will be some light training on Saturday. Kev and Simon are doing this 2.30 for an hour so the boys have a kick around before the Final...

The coach will be picking us up in Cramavill Street at 11 so a 10.45 meet. The coach (and its a big one) (we dont often get big ones in our team do we ladies!!!) will be leaving Great Wakering at 4. Hopefully he will drop us as near to Nutberry as possible (Heidi cant stand walking anywhere!!!) On that note, thanks to Heidi for sorting out the food list for Sunday. Laveena has said it will be ok to drop the food and drink off at the hall at 10.30 if this is easier. Or you can leave it in your car until we get back. hopefully everything is accounted for but feel free to bring a bit of BOOZE if you so wish......

As previously said, can boys wear tracksuits with their t-shirts (yes the bird ones!!) underneath and take kits in bags.

I have managed to sell all seats apart from 2 so this is good for the club. We only have to subsidise £100 from club funds which is brilliant. Also the tops add up to £175, that includes tops for Kevin & Simon. (nike ones but not with birds, I thought about putting a nice picture of me on it but being compared to a bald eagle wasnt to enticing)(now if it was a blue tit I might have been tempted).

I will also be asking for presentation ticket money over the next couple of weeks. If any of you have it available on Sunday then feel free to pay. Its £4 an adult £2 a child and players free. I have aksed Mick for the full quota of 54 tickets.

I have got to organise the proper Jags knees up but promise I will within the next two weeks.

Just leaves me to say, Good luck to my boys on Sunday. Win, lose, have a booze... no seriously, you all deserve to be winners, you can play some great football. Best of luck to all of you.

I have managed to get Nutberry Hall for a couple of hours after the cup final next sunday. I will supply sandwiches, and nibbles and some soft drinks. But just a warning, if we lose then there will be a raffle as to who takes Kev home with them. (and I aint joking)....( I really aint joking)...

I have ordered boys tops for cup final and the presentation do. Ordered lots of sizes so hopefully they will fit. They are black nike t-shirts. The club will pay for these. (so please dont moan if you dont like them... I did leave it late.. Sorry ) . If they all fit...... (have faith) then the attire (what a big word)  for cup final day will be... tracksuits, (jackets and trousers)  black t-shirt. Kit in bags to change into once there.   Rosettes are ordered for final as well.  God Im GOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!! Got them cheap.. they say

We are going to do a bit of training on Friday evening 6 till 7 at nutberry.  We have 2 games this week. Saturday away to Motor Spares. 10.30 kick off at the rugby club in ockendon so 10.00 meet. Sunday is at home to signet 11.30 meet for 12.00 kick off.

Also next week we have the final so we want to do a bit of training on the saturday. We will do it for an hour in the afternoon as we know there is also cricket. Will let you know what time training once I have an idea what time cricket will finish. It is important to get at least an hours training in before such a big game.

Also, we have a pair of tracksuits bottoms size small which is one of the bigger boys. There is no name in it so could you let me know if you are missing a pair.

I know Kev text everyone yesterday but just to confirm.  Simon will have the tickets for the race night so just ask at the door.  The tickets have been paid for by the club so you don't need to pay, (but you might like to chip in to buy a horse).  Unfortunately Kev and I wont be there because we will be in Gloucester for the District Semi Final (more about that later).. but we hope you all have a great night.

The Thurrock Presentation do has been organised by the commitee for May 16th at Stifford Clays Social Club.  Tickets are £4 an adult £2 child and players free. This is the evening when players trophies are given out. I will be asking over the next 2 weeks about numbers as I have to let Mick know asap. Hopefully all the boys can make it.

We are trying to arrange tournaments for the summer.  We have one booked so far which is Sunday 31st August. We are aware that there will be cricket commitments during the summer so will try to arrange tournaments Saturdays.  It all depends when they are being run. Would appreciate if someone could get hold of a cricket schedule asap (Tracy...) If we are only a couple of players short due to holidays etc then we can always borrow a couple of boys. (aint I waffling)

We will also be planning tour for next year. Again this will happen over the next month or so. Its a shame we didnt sort it for this year but with residentials and stuff we thought it would be too much of a commitment for parents.  We have really enjoyed tours in the past. We will be asking parents to let us know so just have a little thought about it....

I will be sorting out our own Thurrock "A" do as well. This will be Early June hopefully.

And last but not least... Its sort of an apology really. This year has been quite a difficult year. And its unfortunate that it coincided with going 11 aside.  Its been difficult in the sense some boys have had district duties and I have been a bit under the weather for a few months (think physco is the word Im looking for). Training has therfore been a bit disjointed with Kev splitting himself not only with regards to the team but also to his two boys.  (come on, get the violins out) Massive thanks to Simon for stepping in.  Great job. District duty is finished after this week (unless they make the final) so things will be back to normal. I think what im trying to say is, thanks for all your patience so far this year. Lets hope the season finishes a great success. I want to wish all the boys the best of luck at the final and also with the rest of the league campaign. What a great group of kids we have. So bring it on.

Could I please have marchs Subs for those who havent paid yet (I appreciate I must take responsiblity for this as I was away choking at the time I should have been collecting. Sorry. Also by time you get to see me, (29th March, Ockendon Rhinos Home)...Aprils will be due nearly. Am I babbling.  Yes. You get the drift dont you. No subs due after April..

I have booked a coach for the cup final. The total is £300. What I am proposing is that we pay £10.00 a family. That will mean we will fund £170.00 from the club. But..... there are 18 seats free and these will be given on a first come first served basis and Ive just took three of them for the olds. All spare seats will be charged at £5.00 per adult £2.00 per child. Like I said there is now 15 seats left. Also, if anyone doesnt wish to come on the coach then please let me know by friday so I can pass the seats on. The more seats we fill the less we will have to take from the club.

Im am also ordering Rosettes for the day.

Thanks for all your kind messages. Im home and feeling a bit sore.... Had a jagged steel rod put down my throat (25cm to be exact) and cleared the blockage.(thought I would share that with you all, you know what a drama queen I am).... Moral of the story.... yes...chew your meat. And lads, can we wait just a couple of days for the jokes to appear so I can at least laugh without it hurting. Thanks.

First and most important thing to mention.....

Phil Kenyon is on the mend and doing well. We wish him the best of luck from all the JAGS!!!! (Phil you are down for sweeping and mopping at the next do!!! as I had to do it.. actually I didnt, I dont even remember being there, but people tell me I had a good time ).. No seriously.. get better quickly. 

Also. I have now ordered new tracksuits for James M, Ryan, Fred, Cameron, Taylor, Gary, Billy H.  These are bigger than the ones they have as I feel that they wont last them. The are quite spacious and may have to have the bottoms rolled over for a couple of the boys but they will be a lot more comfortable. (and when they boys aint wearing them the dads can!!Only joking again) I must have swallowed a happy pill!!!! Once these are in I will ask those boys  to give the tracksuits that they had back and i will give them to Jimmers, Joe,Billy, Ross, Lewis, H and Tom.  I would then like their tracksuits back to give to Tony as a present for his little team for next year. If He wants them!! So hopefully in a couple of weeks the boys will have full tracksuits to keep the warm...

I will let you know about the details for the weekend. We have Ockendon Rhinos in a league game. 12.30 Kick off So it will be a 12 oclock meet at Nutberry... I think Kevin has arranged a friendly with Andys team on saturday instead of training but I will confirm that when I can prise him from the sheep in Wales.

I have asked Mick to supply me with a sample tracksuit for the bigger playser. Once I know this fits ok I will order 7 new ones and the smaller boys can have the bigger boys... Just wanted to say congratulations to Daniel who we have found out has been signed by West Ham.

This is absolutely fantastic news for Dan and fully deserved.  Dan has been great in training as well as matches, his dedication to learning the basics of the game has clearly paid off.  He practices the simple things until he has mastered them.  Passing, moving, shooting and using both feet.

The signing of Dan really shows that with the right attitude your abilities can shine through and be noticed.

Dan will be missed on the playing side but that is a small price to pay to see a player get a great opportunity in life.

Well done Dan, all the best from myself, Simon, the lads and everyone involved in the team.

Remember, you are still one of us and will always be welcome back - hope it does not come to that!!!!

Sundays game is 10 o'clock kick off. 9.30 meet. We are away to Ockendon Rhinos A. They play at Belhus Country Park. Thats not in the same place as the swimming pool.  Its up by the Henry Gurnett Pub. The manager has said to bend to the left when you enter the park and park in the fenced off area. If you dont park in the fenced off area you will get a parking ticket (nothing like promoting and encouraging kids football eh).... Simon will be manager on sunday as I have a little birthday treat to Amsterdam (not sure if its my treat or kevs!!!) Obviously he will apreciate some support with the boys.  As you all know, training is off Saturday as there is a fundraising golf day, and Im proud to say that we will be well represented as a club so thanks to everyone for that. 

I think thats about it. Apologies for the write up not being done yet. Dont even have an excuse I dont think, but I can always backdate it when Kev is home on Thursday. (would I do that)..

Hi All. Its that time when we need to start to plan for the xmas do.  I know its early (I know I say this every year)..

Ive given you all some tickets (apart from veena, will pop yours round and phil g, will pop yours round too!). Ive given tickets to everyone but please dont feel pressured to sell them. I will sort out raffle stuff next month but will be askin for a donation of £5 towards a hamper and, a bottle or some choccies.... YOu have 4 weeks to get your little selves organised....As usual these do's mainly go towards raising money to take the boys on tour and that will be quite a task this year. As for tour, Butlins do an eleven a side tournament. The tournaments abroad all look far too expensive as most of us have residentials to pay for this year. Will sort out some details and prices over the next couple of weeks.

As you can appreciate its quite difficult for Kev. Harry is more than happy to go most weeks on his own so Kev will still take training as normal. Hopefully you can all understand.

Timings for Saturday as follows.

Meet at the BP garage on the A13 at 8am

Register at 9am

Kick off times  -  9.30am, 10.30am and 11.30am.  If we get through then the final should be at 1.30pm

We will lose James, Lewis and Jimmers after the 10.30 game so will be down to 11 players, please let me know if you cannot make Saturday so that I can try to find another player.   

Could you also let me know if you have a white away top(txt will do if it is easier). I know that Taylor and Billy will not have one, but hopefully the rest have which means we should have enough.

Please take the White tops with you on Saturday.

The tournament will be hosted by Catholic United at shoebury Leisure Centre (Shoebury High School), Deleware Road, Shoeburyness. Put this on so that the Sat Nav crew cannot moan about the lack of an address!!!

The following Saturday we have another tournament in Southend.
