Facing undefeated league opponent and rival Valhalla, Granite Hills came out ready both defensively and offensively and was able to defeat a Valhalla team that had not loss a game since April 19th.

Pitching in her final game Caurtney was able to go the distance by moving the ball around just enough to keep the Norsemen off balance and negate damage in both the 2nd and 3rd innings.

 The Defense really shined in the game turning in some outstanding plays, most notable was Alex's continued strong play at third robbing the Norsemen of some sure hits. But we also saw heads up play by Kristen playing her first game at second and an outstanding diving catch by Angelina  in center, as always Kelsey and Sydney did thier superb work at first and catcher.

Ofensively the heroes were Alex, 3 for 4 with 2 rbi, Angelina and Brittany, 2 walks and 2 runs scored each with Angelina scoring the first run of the game on a steal and a missed throw.

Sydney also had a hit, 2 walks and an rbi and Anntte came through with 2 singles and an rbi.
