In a game controlled by both pitchers the Steele Canyon pitcher outdueled Courtney for a 3 - 0 victory.

Behind great pitching by Courtney the lady Eagles headed to the bottom of the 5th tied at 0, however with two outs Granite was unable to get a couple of close pitches called for strikes and what would have been an inning ending strike out led to a 3 run burst as the Cougars were able to score one run on a single and 2 more runs on a miss-played ball hit to center.

The Lady Eagles had their chances though, placing runners on base in 4 of the 7 innings, but were unable to get the big hit. Overall this was probably the best game for the Lady Eagles, as the defense was stellar. Great big Kudos to Courtney (pitching was awesome) and Sydney, called a great game.
