The Junior Eagles were able to stop a late surge by host Patrick Henry and preserve a 8 - 6 victory.

Hitting early and often the Lady Eagles were able to jump out to a 7 - 3 lead after just 3 innings of play but were held scorless again until the 7th, coming up with a much needed insurance run that would give Courtney some extra breathing room in the bottom of the 7th.

Patrick Henry was able to fight back with solid D, timely hitting and taking advantage of 4 Eagle miscues.

The Eagles opened the game with  three straight hits to score two in the first, three in the second (3 more hits) and two more in the third.

Patrick Henry fought back by scoring 3 runs in the third, 2 in the sixth, to cut the lead to 7 -  5 and came up short in the seventh after back to back doubles and one run to open the inning.
