JV goes to 2 - 0, with 14 - 4 win over Coronado
The Junior Eagles fell behind early but came storming back to defeat the visiting Coronado Islanders 14 - 4 in 7 innings.
Committing a couple of early errors the lady Eagles found themselves done 4 - 1 going into the bottom of the third but that is when the bats woke up as the eagles scored 4 runs in the bottom half of the 3rd to take a 5 - 4 lead. The lady eagles were able to score in each of the next three innings by timely hitting and taking advantage of some mistakes by the lady Islanders, the end result was a convincing 14 - 4 rout in game two of the Cathedral Catholic Tournament.
All girls contributed in a team victory as everyone played.
