JV wins opening game of the Season
The JV Eagles opened the Cathedral Catholic JV Tournament with a surprisingly easy victory over host Patrick Henry. Solid pitching, good defense and taking advantage of some costly errors by the home squad, contributed to the lady Eagles winning 8 - 1. Strong performances by all, as all the girls were able to play. Shout outs to Brittany, good D at 1st, 3 for 4 at the plate, with a double at the base of the 207 ft fence in center. Alex, great D at 3rd. Roxanna Pitching 7 strong innings and going 3 for 4 at the plate.
