Grand Mesa 11 yr old boy All-Stars going to Colorado Springs to play for a State Championship!!!!
Wow....what an exciting season we are having.
After just coming off a sweep of the district tournament in Cortez, Co winning all 4 games in a row last week, our young men are now heading for the BIG tournament. Colorado State Championship Tournament being played 7/21-7/25 in Colorado Springs, CO.
We have 6 young men on the team this year that played for a State Championship last year and were runners-up.....so I know they are hungry to win it all this year.
They are pumped up and ready to play. If anyone can come and cheer our team on, we would love to have you there.
Congratulations guys! We are all so very proud of your accomplishments.

Grand Mesa 11 yr old All-Stars win District 1 Championship
This just in......
Grand Mesa Little League out of Grand Junction, Colorado just announced that the GMLL 11 yr old All Star Boys team "swept" the District 1 Championship Tournment on Tuesday 7/10/07.
The boys traveled to Cortez, CO to play in the 6 day tournament against teams from Fruita, CO., Palisade, CO., Three Rivers, CO., and a local team from Cortez, CO.
All the boys from all the teams played hard for the championship title, but only one came away the winner, and that was Grand Mesa. Lead by Manager Greg Hughes and Coach Keith Corra, the team played solid baseball to "sweep" the tournament in an undefeated run of a 4-0 record to take the title.
Thank you to all the fans and sponsors that supported the team in their endeavor!
The win was for the team, manager, coach, parents and all those back at Grand Mesa Little League. Wow!!! What a ride! Congratulations Boys! Well Done.
This 11 yr old All Star team will next play for a Colorado State Chanpionship title that is soon to begin.
