Golden Valley LL is looking for major league managers for the 2009 season.  Canidates do not need to have children playing in GVLL or in the major leagues to apply.  If you are interested please send an email to pbirkeland@comcast.net.

Interviews will take place in November. 

- Advertising Director (coordinate ad and signage sales, coordinate directory)

- Blue League Director (supervise our league for 6-9 year olds)

- Maintenance and Fields Director (supervise maintenance at Honeywell and work with city on other fields)

- Publicity Director (work to promote GVLL and find opportunities to promote our league in the city and area)

- Information Officer (coordinate the GVLL website and coordination of emails)

- Team Parent Coordinator (coordinate the team parent meeting, picture day and Twins day. Not a board postion and will take one to two weeks to perform)

We need volunteers to make our league run.  Last year we received great reviews for our work on the District Major League Classic tourney, our Gold League teams took 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Minor League Classic, and we have rebuilt Honeywell field to use in 2009.
