Sunday, November 8 Update on Honeywell Expansion Here is a quick update on the Honeywell Field Expansion. The proposal has been submitted to the Amatuer Sports Commission for evalulation. Those evaluations will be presented to the Hennepin County Commission for evaluation. The grant application is for $467,000 with Golden Valley Little League responsible for $67,000. We are looking for people that can help with the fundraising process. We need someone that can help coordinate our fundraising message and keep track of our progress. This person would not be expected to be responsible for fundraising. Email pbirkeland@comcast.net if you are interested. Sunday, November 8 GVLL is looking for Managers and Coaches for 2010 Season We are looking for coaches and managers for the 2010 season. For 2010, we are going to field 6 major league team. We need 4 managers for the upcoming season. For the Gold and Blue Leagues, we will be holding an information meeting in January for all those interested. The current field is located in the top right corner of the drawing (labled existing baseball field). It is not colored in. There will be no structural changes to the current field.
