Thanks for checking out our webpage. We hope you can be a frequent visitor. The team and coaches are very excited about the upcoming softball season and we look forward to working with the athletes, parents, and community throughout the spring. After an appearance in the state playoffs last year, the team is ready to work hard to go even further this year. If you have any questions you can call 541-679-7416 and leave a message if there is no one home. There will also be links on this site to other sites that concern Douglas High School news, other athletic programs, and community events. If you have suggestions (that do not take very much technical intelligence) that will help this website, please let us know. If you have trouble accessing parts of the site, we will try to help, however, we are not computer gurus, so please be patient. Also, we have noticed that some browsers show a little different information. For example, some sites won't show some of the videos or graphics that we have. We will keep working on it. Hope you enjoy the site and "Go, Trojans."

Most coaches are volunteers
Although it might seem like the Trojan football and softball programs have plenty of coaches that is not really the case. In a football program that includes up to 60 players, the Trojans have only three paid coaches. The program would not be able to function under these conditions without the help of many volunteers. Fortunately, football has up to ten other people helping out on their own with satisfaction as their only reward. The following coaches are not compensated for any of their time or efforts in football: Kevin Avery, Rob Averett, Kyle Bachmeier, Mickey Calvert, Eric Koegler . Clinton Linville, Kevin Wicks, Jeremy Stoffal, Darren Polamalu, Chris Pinnell, Kevin Grassman, Alan Hobson. Along with these coaches, we have countless other people who help in many ways. Charles Cotton, Ken McKillip, and Debbie Bishop have put many hours into the new softball field. Kerry Dwight, Aaron Bayer, Alan Hobson, Marlys Hobson, Jen Myers, Kristen Fisher, Kevin Abbe, Larry Vang, and many others have helped with the softball program that normally has between 30 and 40 girls and only two paid coaches. We appreciate the efforts of all these individuals and many more. We thank them for their help, time, and contributions. Without individuals such as these, Trojan programs would not exist.
Local business help in Mower Mania
The Treasure House Restaurant, Guy Kennerly, Robert Wheeler, and Dennis Dietrich have all made valuable contributions to the upcoming Mower Mania event. Rhonda Darby and many other parents have also been very active in the selling process. We would like to thank Staples and Dave Quanbeck for their generous donations as well. If you know of other individuals or businesses who have helped in special ways, please let me know. The bad thing about thank yous is that we always seem to forget someone.
Go to our sponsor page
Although no one is currently sponsoring this web page, we have many people and businesses who support our programs. Check this page out and please use their services. If you get a chance, mention your thanks for their support and mention that you saw them on our website.
