Sandy's sputtered out of the gate and seemed to be trying to give the game away in the middle of the innings but scored 5 in each inning except the 1st to ultimately win 27-22 (we were home team and did not bat in the 7th).

Tom's scored 11 runs in the 3rd and 4th, aided greatly by some walks issued by John after a couple overt fielding blunders behind him that were the main reason for the 7 run 4th inning debacle.  Tom's gave as got, however, committing 6 errors and 2 walks that led to 4 runs.

Russ singled to lead off and would score on Tom's fielding miscues.  The 3B erred on Frank's grounder allowing him to reach.  Phil hit a one-bouncer right to the 2B and forced Frank at 2d but the relay to first was slow.  Phil would later score on Frank G's solid shot up the middle.

The bottom of the order stayed hot and after a leadoff out Jay hit his 2d HR of the nite to put us in the mood.  Double, single, single, single, double followed and we had our 5.

In the third Jim F led off with his 2d HR of the night.  Frank B and Phil each doubled.  Tom D and Gary B each drove in a run and the 5th scored amongst defensive miscues.

The 4th was all hitting.   Vinny, Jim F (BB), Frank (2B), Phil (3B) and John K conspired to get our 5.

Six singles and a 2B E helped us to 5 in the 5th. 

We put the game away in the bottom of the 6th with Phil, John K, Frank G, John M and Jay all singling in runs.

John M pitched both games well.
