Asbury Park Firehouse Field
Atlantic Ave, Long Branch From GSP, or 18, or 35, proceed to 36 East, toward Long Branch. Take 36 East past Monmouth Park a signal or two to Branchport Ave (signal light) turn left (north). Proceed a couple of blocks to Atlantic Ave, on the left corner is Casa Comida. Turn right on Atlantic; the field is a few blocks down on the left, across from 6th Ave. The rich people from Rumson and Red Bank can take 520 to Seven Bridges (right) to Monmouth Blvd (left) to Shrewsbury/Branchport (right) to Atlantic (left). By Boat Take the Shrewsbury River to the South Shrewsbury River branch. Proceed south past Troutman's Creek (on left) one block. Beach boat on left bank and walk up to the field.
Bachman Sports Complex Glen Burnie
Bicentennial Park, E. Brunswick Best bet: click on the compass button below. From Rte 1 take Rte 130 S approx. 1.5 mmiles to Washington Place. Be in the left lane,go left. Washington Place will become Hardenburg Lane after you cross over Lake Farrington. In about 1/2 mi Hardenburg makes a left - don't go straigt! Shortly after you will see an entrance to Bicentennial Park on your left. If you come to Riva Ave you passed the entrance. From Rte 18 in Old Bridge: Take Cranbury Rd south towards Cranbury/S. River. After .9 miles bear rt onto Dunham's Corner Rd. Go 1.7 miles and turn rt onto Hardenburg La. Entrance to Bicentennial Pk. is in 2 miles on the right; just past Riva Ave. Field is a C class field; the outfield has a berm at about 250 in center which curves around to right field. Open field. Trees in left at 300' gently increasing to left center to 320', open to center and right.
Boynton Park, Woodbridge 290' down left field line, goes on a line deeper to center. Center to right field are open field. Usually excellent field. Good shade, lights. From Exit 11 on the turnpike get onto Rte 9 north. To do so come thru the toll booth close to the middle. After the toll booth head for the Garden State Parkway South. Get to the far right lane for the Parkway South; it is the exit for Rte 9. Make the second right for King George's Post Road/Fords. You will go rt off the exit. You will cross over the parkway. Immediately after make a right to enter Rte 9 north. Go approx. a mile to the Main St. exit. Make a right at the end of the exit onto Main St. Follow the directions below from Main St. From the Garden State Parkway get onto Rte 9 north at exit 127. As you come across the Raritan River bridge be in the 3rd lane from the right. If you stay in that lane it will lead you directly onto Rte 9 north. Stay on Rte 9 for about 2 miles till you come to Main St. in Woodbridge. Make a right at the end of the exit onto Main Street. MAIN ST: Follow it through the heart of Woodbridge. (If you come up Rte 35 look for Main St approx 1/2 mile after you cross over the NJ Turnpike. Make a rt. Follow next directions) Immediately after passing under a railroad bridge the road will bend sharply to the left. Follow it. The road name changes to Rahway Ave. The second light after is Port Reading Ave. Make the right. Approx. 3/4 mile later make a left onto 5th Ave. Follow to the end of the street; Boynton Park will be in front of you. Turn rt for the parking lot or find a spot on the street.
Brice Field, Wall From exit 98 on the GSP get onto Rte 34 south or east; whichever it is. Make a quick rt onto Allenwood Rd. Allenwood sort of dead ends; make a left onto Westside Dr. It will quickly become Allenwood/Lakewood Rd. Continue straight approx 1/4 mile; field is on the right.

Geick Park, Old Bridge 1.7 miles east of Rte 9 on Rte 516; Old Bridge. Intersection of Partridge Road and 516 (Old Bridge Matawan Road. For accurate web directions go to http://maps.google.com and type in Old Bridge Matawan Rd & Partridge Rd Matawan, NJ 07747. Yahoo maps is inaccurate.
Healthquest Sport's Dome Yahoo will say an exact location was not found; click on the Healthquest option; facility is due north on the right from Bartle's Corner on Healthquest Blvd.
Hillcrest Park Good link to this location: Go up Hillcrest Road from this intersection approximately .5 mile and turn right into Hillcrest Park. Superb tournament quality facility with 2 superior fenced and lit fields of 295' each, both with warning tracks. The upper field has padded fences along the foul lines and on the warning tracks. Concession stand by upper, nicer field of the two. Lavatories at the better (upper) field. Also has fastpitch girl's field and practice area, soccer fields.
J.C. Field (Also called Whitehouse Firehouse) Google link to this site: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Fire+Lane+and+Old+Rte+28,+Whitehouse,+New+Jersey&spn=0.019478,0.042315&hl=en Tucked directly behind the Whitehouse Firehouse off Rte 202 S, this excellent lit field features 290' fences with a warning track and nice dugouts with shade on both sides - especially the third base side. Excellent parking and a picnic area beyond right field. No lavatory though you might work out a deal with the firehouse to use the facilities in the attached multipurpose hall.
Lincroft Park 2 softball fields. Field closest to Brookdale College has lights. 297' LF line, 339' to LC, 270' to right line.
Linden Tremlay Park (part of Vet's Park) Nice 275' fenced field. East side of complex. Concession stand at other fields. Decent parking.
Linden Veteran's Memorial Park 2 310' fences. Concession stand available. Excellent, tournament quality fields. fences, lights, warning track. Decent parking
Linden Veteran's Memorial Park 3 Excellent field. 305' fences. dugouts. warning track. lights. decent parking. concession stands.
Manalapan NJ Three excellent fields; one 310', one 285', one from 280' to 265'. Used frequently for B and/or C division State tournament. Good parking, shade, conveniences.
Marvin Road, Middletown Marvin Pk in Middletown; just north of Red Bank. Find your way to Rte 35 in Middletown. If you are on 35 north make a right onto Kings Highway East. Make an immediate left onto Tindall Rd. (there may be a sign pointing to Middletown N H.S.; follow it). Make the second right onto Swartzel Drive. Make the first left onto Marvin Rd. Marvin Park is on the left.
Mercer County Park DIRECTIONS: FROM: North & South via Interstate 295: Take 295 to exit 65A, Sloan Ave. East on Sloan Ave., after the first traffic light travel .7 mile to Paxson Ave. Turn left onto Paxson and proceed .9 mile to intersection of Hughes Dr. and entrance to Mercer County Park FROM: South via US #1: Cross Toll Bridge into New Jersey on US 1. Take first right past Quakerbridge Mall onto Quakerbridge Rd. Travel 2.2 miles and turn left onto Hughes Dr. Proceed on Hughes Dr. for ½ mile to entrance of Mercer County Park on the left. FROM: South via Route 130/206: Follow Route 130 North to 526 in Robbinsville. Turn left at traffic light at Route 526 and right at the next light, ( still 526). From this point travel 3 miles to Route 535 ( Edinburg Rd.) Turn left onto 535 and travel .2 mile to entrance of Mercer County Park on the right. FROM: North via US #1: Take US 1 South of Princeton to Route 533 (Quakerbridge Rd.). Make right into jughandle crossing over Route 1 onto 533. Travel 2.2 miles and turn left onto Hughes Dr. Proceed on Hughes Dr. ½ mile to entrance of Mercer County Park on the left. FROM: North via NJ Turnpike: Take Turnpike south to Exit 8 at Hightstown. Follow Route 33 West and turn right on 571. Travel on 571 for 2 ½ miles to Route 535 and proceed 4 miles to entrance of Mercer County Park on the right. FROM: South via NJ Turnpike: Take Turnpike to Exit 7A. Follow west on I-195 to exit 5B. Travel north on Route 130 to first light (Route 526). Turn left at light and right at next light (still 526). From this point travel 3 miles to Route 535 (Edinburg Rd.). Turn left onto 535 and travel .2 mile to entrance of Mercer County Park on the right.
Michael Tighe Field, Freehold From Rte 9 and Rte 33 in Freehold look south approximately a mile to find Rte 524; go west on 524 for approximately a mile to Georgia Road; there is a traffic light at the intersection. Make a left (go south) for approximately a half mile to the entrance of Michael Tighe Park, on the left side of the road. The entrance road is also named Remembrance Rd. The ballfield we usually play on is the last one in the park, located at the very end of the road on the left. For the State Tournament in 04 look for ballfield numbers and report to whichever your games are on.
North Branch A & B, Bridgewater Beautiful field with lights, 285 down the lines, 310 to center. Warning track, stands, lavatory, stand, parking and shade right at the field. O'Shays, Matawan Ocean 1 (Playground) From the Garden State Parkway Exit 105. Get into the far right lane as you come off the exit. You will make an immediate right at the light onto Hope Road. Take Hope for about a half mile and get onto Rte 18 South. Take Rte 18 South for about a mile and get off at exit 12, West Park Avenue towards Oakhurst. Cross Rte 35, go approximately one mile till you come to Larkin Place. Make a right. The firehouse will be on your right after a block. Pass the firehouse and make the first right after. The Playground field is at the end of the road. The field is a pretty good one. There are restrooms. Left field fence is 325'and gets further from home towards center. Center to right field are open.
Ocean 2 (Firehouse) From the Garden State Parkway Exit 105. Get into the far right lane as you come off the exit. You will make an immediate right at the light onto Hope Road. Take Hope for about a half mile and get onto Rte 18 South. Take Rte 18 South for about a mile and get off at exit 12, West Park Avenue towards Oakhurst. Cross Rte 35, go approximately one mile till you come to Larkin Place. Make a right. The firehouse will be on your right after a block. Make a right turn just before the firehouse to access field 2's parking lot. The fields do not have a board under the batter's boxes and can be "trenchy", but the fields are usually in ok shape. The parking lot in left field is 320' from home. There is a portion of left field with a fence only 285' from home. It extends into the left field corner approxmately 30'. There is a building to center 32o from home. Right center and right field are open.
Rash Field, Belmar From the end of Rte 18 take Rte 138E to 35N. Take the 1st rt. onto 16th St. Make the 7th rt, approx. 1/2 mi., onto Rte 71 South, which is also H Street. Go for about 3/4 mile. You will pass 18th Ave and the next street will be 6th Ave. Go figure. Rash Field entrance is across from 3rd Ave. Fence from home plate approx. 285'. Has mediocre lights. Bring warm something to wear; it is often very chilly there.
Red Bank HS, Red Bank The fastest way to the school from GSP 109 is to take Rte 520, Newman Springs Road, East to Rte 35. Go right onto 35 and immediately get into the left lane. Turn left at the traffic light onto White Road. Take it for approx. 1/2 mile and go left on Branch Ave. In a block make a right onto Rumson Rd, which is Rte 520 again. Make the 6th left turn onto Harding Rd. You will pass the field in about 1/2 mile on the right. Go to the end of Harding, go right, then make another right into the school. From the school's main entrance follow the road to the right and to the rear of the school. Park by the small admin building. Walk to the right of the bushes. Field is on opposite side of the bush line. Field is 295' down left field line to bush line, which extends straight out to center, getting further from home. Open to center and right. Trees along 1st base dugout, open along third. Usually a nice field.
Ross Field, Aberdeen Open field to left and center. RC pole 310', RF foul line 285'. From GSP South exit 120 get onto Cliffwood Rd. Go left and stay on it till you cross over Rte 35. Look to your left; in about a half mile you will come to Lenox St. Field in across street on the left. Make a left onto Lenox and park.
Sickles Field, Little Silver Open Field park. From the GSP: Go east on Rte 520, Newman Springs Road, towards Red Bank. After about 2 miles you will approach a traffic light/RR crossing combo. Get in the right lane, make a right onto Rte 35. Immediately get over to the left lane and go left onto White Road. After about a mile it will end at Branch Ave. Go left. This will put you back onto Rte 520. After approx 1/4 mile you will pass Prospect Ave. Then look to your left. You will pass Laurelwood Dr. Then you will see a sign for Sickle Farm Make a left, the Park is at the end of the road (couple blocks distance). If you look at a map, Queen's Drive is across the road from the entrance to Sickle Park. It is in Little Silver, zip 07739.
St. Leo's Church, Lincroft Excellent C Division field; Wall in left approx 270' from home, goes out to about 285 in LC then open to center and right. Good parking, shade, picnic tables.
Thomas A. Edison Park, Edison Two superior tournament quality fields. Fld 1, 285' fences, rest rooms, limited shade. Fld 2, 275' fences, no shade. Excellent parking. lights on both.
To Be Determined Veterans Park, Old Bridge One mile south of Rte 18 on Rte 527/Englishtown Rd. Park is on east side of 527, 300 ft south of Brunswick Ave, which is on the west side of 527. Two Excellent tournament quality fields. 285' fence, 275' fence. Excellent shade, parking, picnic facilities. Water and electric avail. Contact Old Bridge Rec to reserve.
Wall High School
Willits Field, Neptune GSP to exit 100. Get onto 33E. Approx 3/4 mi east on Rte 33, turn right (southeast) onto Gulley Rd/Old Corlies Rd, bear left onto Old Corlies at the split, field is on the north side of Old Corlies (left from this direction). From Rte 18 proceed west on 33 from the Rte 33 exit off 18. From 33 west turn immediate left (southwest) onto Old Corlies Rd, field is on the north side (right).
Winding River Park NOTE! Yahoo gives directions to Hospital Drive but the entrance to the park is about 200 yards to the east of Hospital Drive; closer to the entrance from the GSP. 2 fenced and lit ballfields; one closest to Rte 37 is 305' down the lines, 320 to the power alleys, 310 to dead center. Far field is 285' down the lines and 305' to center. Good parking, just a couple hundred yards from exit 83 on the GSP.
