Juniors who have made it into the Seniors
GOALKEEPERS
Stuart Lloyd
Age: 23 Son of manager Bob Lloyd, Stuart had been out of the game since December 2004 when he picked up an injury in a match at Porthcawl Town, but returned to between the sticks in the summer of 2006. A great commander of his box and a good shot stopper, Stuart will be hoping to re-claim the number one jersey for season 2006/07.
Previous Clubs:
Garden Village Juniors, Swansea City Youth.
Rhys Williams
Age: 17
Previous Clubs: Garden Village Juniors.
DEFENDERS
David Evans
Age: 23 At only 23 years of age, David has been an established member of the first team for many seasons after progressing through the Junior section of the club. Suffered a nasty leg injury in the derby match at Morriston in December 2005 but did return before the end of the season. Was scorer of just one goal in the League Cup win over Pontyclun last October.
Previous Clubs:
Garden Village Juniors.
Alex Jones
Age: 19
A keen cricketer, Alex was a member of the successful Under-16's side of 2003/04. Strong at the back, he made his first-team debut as a substitute in the league win at Ammanford in August 2004.
Previous Clubs:
Garden Village Juniors.
Neil Lloyd
Age: 23 Bob Lloyd's other son, the 23-year-old right-sided defender is another to have progressed through the Junior ranks at the club. He has also represented Porth Tywyn at Youth level and Swansea Boys Club. Broke his leg in the 1-1 draw at Gwynfi United in October 2005 and missed the rest of the campaign.
Previous Clubs:
Garden Village Juniors, Porth Tywyn Youth.

Steve was scorer of 11 goals from midfield last term.
Previous Clubs:
Garden Village Juniors, Skewen Athletic.
Phil John
Age: 25 Has been in the first-team on and off over the last couple of seasons but looked to have regained his place in the teams engine room during 2004/05. A tough battler, Phil sadly suffered a nasty injury in the opening match of last season at Pontypridd and was out until July when he returned in the friendly at Tenby by putting in a man of the match performance.
Previous Clubs:
Garden Village Juniors.
Nicholas Romanello
Age: 38
Long serving member of the club, a veteran of the game and club captain, Nicky played a major role in the promotions from the Carmarthenshire League right through to the First Division of the Welsh League between 1999 and 2002. Previous Clubs:
Garden Village Juniors, Haverfordwest County.
Dayle Selvage
Age: 17
Stepped-up from the Under-16s in the summer of 2005. Has little experience but you wouldnt think it! Scored his first goal in senior football in the home defeat by ENTO Aberaman in September 2005 and scored again the following weekend at Barry Town in the League Cup.
Previous Clubs:
Garden Village Juniors.

Code of Conduct
Garden Village Juniors have adopted the Code of Conduct produced by the Football Association of Wales.
FOOTBALL CODE OF CONDUCT
The FAW Code of Conduct and Good Practice sets standards for clubs, coaches,
and parents involved in football. It has been developed to improve standards of good
practice and protect the welfare and wellbeing of all those involved in the game,
particularly young players themselves.
Parents
Encourage your child to play by the laws of the game
Avoid pressurising players about winning or losing
Support and encourage all players, including the opposition
Never publicly criticise your child or other players
Do not question decisions made by the match officials
Players
Show respect and fair play to your opponents
Play within the rules of the game
Encourage, support and co-operate with your team-mates
Respect the officials and accept all decisions without question
Coaches
Give all players, whatever their ability, the chance to play.
Always pursue fair play.
Accept that striving to win is more important that winning itself.
Ensure that coaching sessions are fun, well structured and focus on developing skill,
decision-making and understanding of the game.
Additional Good Practice for all Adults in Football
(Including Match Officials, Medical Staff and Volunteers)
Be aware of the FAW Welfare Policy and your responsibilities.
Avoid spending time alone with young players and vulnerable adults away from others.
It is not appropriate to have an intimate relationship with a young player or a vulnerable adult.
Avoid any horseplay, sexually suggestive comments or language.
Never ridicule a child or vulnerable adult, or reduce them to tears.
Never do things of a personal nature for a child or a vulnerable adult that they can do for themselves.
Never allow allegations made by a child or a vulnerable adult to go unchallenged, unrecorded or not acted upon.
WHO TO CONTACT
If you suspect abuse could be taking place you should contact your nominated Club Welfare Officer (Alan Shepherd) or a Welfare Officer appointed by the FAW Area Association to which your club is registered.
If you are unsure who these persons are, or if you wish to speak directly to an expert for advice then contact the NSPCC Helpline.
