Smyrna's Big League team finished as the Georgia State runner up. A good team representing District 4 defeated Smyrna in the State Championship game.

Field Of Dreams Little League Newest Member of the D2 Family
Field of Dreams Little League, playing out of Welcome All Park, has joined the Little League family. The "brainchild" of Terry Johnson, Executive Director of the Field Of Dreams Academy, will help reestablish a community program in the Welcome All area. Welcome All Park is best known as the program that Marquis Grissom played in as a youngster. In recent years this program has found itself in disrepair due in large part to "competitive" baseball and "travel ball" pressures. Mr. Johnsons vision is to build a strong community based Little League program with the knowledge that only through broad based community support will youth baseball continue produce players of all abilities.
