District Tournament Schedule Set

A first draft of the 2009 tournament schedule has been set. This schedule is subject to change, but we wanted to get the information out as soon as possible for planning purposes.
June 6th Murphey Candler 7/8 Distirct
June 13th Smyrna 9 Distirct
June 20th Smyrna 7/8 NW Georgia
June 20th Milford 9/10 District
June 27th East Marietta 10/11 District
July 6th Milford 11/12 District

Jim to Call Big League Regional
|
|
 Jim Knorr has been invited to umpire at the 2009 Big League Regional tournament in Fr. Lauderdal Florida. The tournament runs from July 17th to July 21st. Ft. Lauderdal in July... Jim, you better pack a jacket!
You may recall that Jim earned the nickname Jimmy "3 Plate" Knorr at the 2006 Little League World Series by being one of very few umpires assigned 3 plate games during the tournament.
I'm certain Jim will do D2 proud again this year!

Ken Fitts to call Tournament of State Champions
|
|
 Ken Fitts has been invited to call the 2009 Tournament of State Champions in West Virginia. This tournament pits the 9/10 state champion for every state in the southern region.
It's a great tournament and I'm certain Ken will have the time of his life. If you see Ken at district tournaments this year, remember to wish him well.
