Murphey Candler LL took the 7 & 8 district tournament, then the 7 & 8 Northwest GA State touranment! EMNLL took the banner in the 9 year old tournament and MC Blue walked home with the 9 / 10 District Banner. Congrats to all of these teams.

Jim Knorr has been invited to umpire at the 2009 Big League Regional tournament in Fr. Lauderdal Florida. The tournament runs from July 17th to July 21st. Ft. Lauderdal in July... Jim, you better pack a jacket!
Ken Fitts has been invited to call the 2009 Tournament of State Champions in West Virginia. This tournament pits the 9/10 state champion for every state in the southern region.
