GTAAA is planning Fall Baseball for boys leagues - Farm thru Juniors.... Fall Ball players have the opportunity to play-up to the next level... The level they will be playing in next season. So, a 5 or 6 year old planning to play Farm next year would play with 7 year olds in Farm Fall Ball this year, 8 yr olds would play with 9 yr olds in Minors, second-year Minors (9yr olds who played up last year) & 10 year old players would play with 11 year olds on the Majors field.... 12 yr olds would play up to Juniors league...
League info: At this time we are targeting to have 3 to 4 teams for each GTAAA league. We're also looking to play neighboring towns with the same Fall League design regarding league structure (Avon, Richmond, Antioch). Targeting approximately 10 games with a double elimination tournament at the end of the Fall season. Team practices would start late-July or early August. Games planned to start mid-late August. Season to run through early October.
Registration is on right now... Cost is $75/player. Sign up forms (standard-regular season registration forms used) are available in the concession stand or can be found on the GTAAA web site (link/address below). Send registration forms with payment attached to the address below or hand in completed forms to the Fall league reps by July 15th.
Evaluations are planned for July 18th & 25th (players to make one date only). Times 4:00pm to 5:30pm at Vets park on the respective league fields.
