Welcome to GTAAA Youth Baseball. We offer Baseball to boys ages 7-14.
Farm Baseball - Boys Age 7-8
This is an in-house instructional league for boys to continue to learn fundamentals of baseball and to have fun. Players are allowed to pitch, with coaches help. A regulation baseball is used. All players bat in roster rotation. Players will continue to learn fundamentals of hitting, throwing, pitching, basic defense and basic rules. No team standing are kept. All games are played at Veteran's Park.
Minor Baseball - Boys Age 9-10
This is a transitional in-house league more closely resembling true baseball. A regulation baseball is used. All players bat in roster rotation. Players will learn fundamentals of hitting, throwing, and basic defense and the basic rules and strategies of baseball. The fundamentals of base stealing are introduced. Team standings are kept. All games are played at Veteran's Park.
Major Baseball - Boys Age 11-12
This league provides higher level of competition. A regulation baseball is used. All players bat in roster rotation. Players will continue to learn fundamentals of hitting, throwing, and basic defense and the basic rules and strategy of baseball. The fundamentals of base stealing are expanded upon. Team standings are kept. Our Major league will play games against Antioch's major league.
Junior Baseball - Boys Age 13-14
Our 13-14 year olds are playing in the Nippersink Baseball Association which is comprised of aproximately 36 teams from all over Lake and McHenry Counties as well as Genoa City, Wisconsin.
The age cutoff for Boys is April 30th.
