Welcome to the Home Page for the Grand Slam Riverdogs AAU Baseball Program!
The Riverdogs are an NEAAU affiliated baseball club fielding teams for the 2009 season in the 10U, 12U, and 16U divisions. The Riverdogs Baseball Program emphasizes instruction and player development, and is ideally suited for those players eager to develop or refine the practice habits, conditioning, baseball skills, and experience that will position them well for High School and College baseball programs. Drawing players from area towns like Taunton, Mansfield, Norton, Raynham, and Lakeville, the Riverdogs program is a great opportunity for youth baseball players throughout Southeastern Massachusetts who are interested in playing and learning baseball at a very competitive level.
Pre-season practices are held at the Grand Slam Hitting & Training Center in Taunton, MA beginning in January. Games are played on weekends - typically in double-header format.

Head coaches Tom Fresoni (pictured, right) and Barry Chew bring AAU experience and dedication to the Riverdogs program, with a focus on sportsmanship, conditioning, and baseball fundamentals. Tom and Barry managed successful 11U and 15U programs respectively in 2008 and return to build the 2009 Riverdogs 12U and 16U teams around a nucleus of returning players from last season's successful squads. Additionally, they are joined this year by coach Ken Southworth who will run the new 10U team after working as an assistant last season with the 11U team.
