Celebrating 50 years of quality baseball

GNLL is a chartered affiliate of Little League Baseball, Inc., and participates within the newly designated District  27 of the Little League Southern Region.  Each year, GNLL helps 360+ boys  and girls between the ages of 5 and 14 learn and enjoy our national pastime.  GNLL was franchised May 22, 1959 making it the first Little League in Collier County.  The Board of Directors, which consists currently of 11 dedicated volunteers, are  responsible for the overall opeation of the league.  Duties include registration, fund raising, coach selection and training, clinics, tryouts, and team selection and draft  process,  game and practice scheduling, league events, uniforms, equipment, league finance, and safety training.   We are dedicated to creating an environment that permits kids to learn positive skills such as sportsmanship, competition, team effort, and of course, the game of baseball, while remembering the most important part of being a kid, HAVING FUN!!    Little League is a  program of service to youth.  It is geared to provide an outlet  of  healthy activity and training under good leadershipand in the atmosphere of wholesome community participation.

Little League is a volunteer organization, and at GNLL there are over 140 volunteers that dedicate their time to the league each season.   GNLL applauds the League Volunteers, Team Managers, Assistant Coaches, and Team Parents  that make the program possible.
