Note: GVSA has added field maps to their website for the Fall 2002 season. They have done an excellent job with these maps, and that should be your first source for map and field location info.
Associated with most of the soccer field descriptions below is a compass icon. Clicking on the compass will link to Yahoo Maps, centered on the field or park. You can use the features of Yahoo Maps to change scale (zoom in or out), print a map, find restaurants or other businesses in the area, or to generate driving directions from your location to the field.
The address listed is used as a locator for Yahoo Maps, and the address can also be entered for other map services such as Mapquest or Mapblast. Note that some facilities, such as schools, have real addresses. In other cases, the address is just an estimate which is used as a map locator.

Cascade Park
Cascade Park is northeast of the Gerald Ford International Airport, located off Thornapple River Drive just north of I-96. As you enter the park, turn right into the first parking lot (past the gazebo) to get to the large field. The park also features restrooms (not near the soccer fields, and they may be closed in early spring and late fall), baseball fields, covered picnic areas, and a playground. A paved path 1 mile in length circles the perimiter of the park.

Entering Grand Haven township from the south on US-31 - There is a traffic light on US-31 at M-45 which is also known as Lake Michigan Drive. Continue north 3.5 miles to 168th Street. You will see Vickie's Restaurant on your right just before 168th Street. Turn right onto 168th Street. Within 100 feet of turning onto 168th, Ferris Street crosses 168th. Slow down, and turn right onto Ferris almost immediately after getting on 168th. Continue 1.4 miles east on Ferris Street. Look for a Hofma Park sign on your left. You cannot see any sign of a soccer field until you are well into Hofma Park. Park in a designated parking spot or the township will ticket you.

As of Sept. 2004, there is currently road construction on 160th Street; therefore you must go to 168th street and turn east on Perry St. (1/2 mile south of Lakewood) and you will be taken to the fields. There is a "Road Closed to Thru Traffic" sign at the intersection of 168th & Perry, but you can reach the fields.
The facilities at Winstrom Park include soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, restrooms, play ground equipment, and extensive nature trails.
