Greater Largo Little League: Safety & Equipment

Each player must have:

• Size appropriate Baseball Glove

• Cleats, Rubber tip through Majors.  Junior and Seniors can use metal.

• Little League Approved Batting Helmet T-ball through AAA must have a face shield, Majors on up can choose to remove the face mask if the parent so chooses.

• Little League Approved Bat. (See note below)

• A Protective Cup is required for all male players. These can be worn with an athletic supporter or slide short. 

Note: XO procup "Gel cup" has a gel coating the many players prefer to wear.
  

GLLL recommends:

• An equipment bag to hold your players equipment.

• Sliders (or Slide Shorts) are available in different styles and can add extra protection for a player.

Please mark your child’s equipment with his or her first and last name for identification.  Batting helmets may not have any names or marking on the outside of the helmets.
