Girls Junior Lacrosse of Poway: Welcome

Fall 2016 Girls Lacrosse

Fall Season 2016

We had a great year of growth because Girls Junior Lacrosse of Poway fielded TWO 'A' teams and 1 'B' team - which gave our girls a chance to play far more competitive games against the best competition in North County. We didn't end up with undefeated records like the previous season, but our teams had younger girls than many other teams, and we have many returning players this upcoming season. We look forward to an exciting Fall! Way to go Poway!

Girls Program Philosophy

We strive to provide each player the appropriate age level of coaching instruction; we seek to build a player’s confidence in learning lacrosse skills; we aspire to develop a sense of teamwork and fair play; we honor the game by respecting the rules, our opponents, officials, our teammates and ourselves; and we aim to develop character values that will benefit today’s players in later years and in other endeavors. Players will learn the value of teamwork, determination, and commitment, and HAVE FUN playing lacrosse.
