July 1-3 KCI played 7 different teams and went 5-3 for the weekend. How important is it to stay in the winners bracket.... VERY, VERY Important.
KCI went 2-1 in pool play, 2-2 in bracket play, 1 exhibition won
Lost first Bracket game to Xplosion 9-2
Beat KCI-16 9-8 in four OT innings game lasted 2:17 (no rain delay on this one.
Beat Salt City 2-0.
Lost to Ft. Scott Tigers 3-2
June 25-26 KCI went 6-0 staying in the winners Bracket and beating Eclipse 2-0 in the Championship Game.
June 18-19 KCI went 3-2 staying in the winners Bracket and getting knocked out of the winners bracket by the Lawrence Phenix Flyers after 9 innings which included 2 OT's and 2 hrs 10 minutes. Once in the losers Bracket they were face to face with sister team KCI (16). The pressure was to much in the 9-1 loss. KCI scores unexpected 3rd place hardware.

2005 Third Tournament - KC Impact Mary Tournament Results at OGSA Oct. 2-3.
Game #1: 10:30 am won 9-2 against Steelers
Game #2: 1:30 pm loss 4-3 against Top Guns
Game #3: 4:30 pm won 5-0 against KC Pride
Sunday Bracket play: KC Pride won 7-5 as they came back in the last inning soccoring five runs to eliminate KC Impact from bracket play.
Second Tournament of 2005 season: Impact dominated the tournament at JCGAA this last weekend by not allowing any runs in the first four games. In the championship game on Sunday the girls were down 1-4 in the sixth inning. They tied the game as time expired 4-4 and holding on in the bottom of the sixth inning. The seventh inning was the International tiebreaker. (The girls played an awsome game against a very good Olathe Hammers team.) Impact scored two runs and held on to win the Championship Game 6-4 ** Berth to USSSA Nationals.
