News: Fall 2005 Soccer will begins the weekend of September 10/11 as we have a Double Hitter Weekend.

Piper All Stars Recap Spring 2005
PAS won Opening Day 2-0: Lindsey A. put in the first goal of the game in the second half. Ten minutes later a second goal was scored by Courtney G. on a centering pass from Lindsey A.
PAS won game #2 against the Twisters 2-1. First goal was made by Stevi on a pass from Ashley K. The second goal was made by Courtney G. on a center pass from Sammi N. Great team work girls.
PAS ties game #3 against Mudd Chicks 2-2. After falling behind 0-1, Stevi L. finds herself in the open field and scores just before half time. After falling behind again 1-2 with less than 8 minutes in the game Stevi L. found herself on a fast break to the dead zone. She made a great fake and made a crossing pass to the center where Megan S. was waiting and tapped it in for a goal.
Game #4 PAS had a battle on their hands as they played the Mystics. While the game looked to be a cake walk at the end of the first half, the second half was brutal. Four different girls got into the scoring act. Becca F.'s first appearance this year and wasted little time as she scored the games first goal. Alex E. battled for position in the middle of the field and scored the games second goal. Courtney G. scored on a centering pass from Courtney B. "short court." Sammi N. score on a rebound from a Penalty Kick off the goal post and goalkeeper. All scoring for PAS was done in the first half of play. Megan had a shut-out in the first half. Alex E. played goalie in the second half and did a fantastic job. PAS Wins Game 4-1!
Game #5: The game started out fast as Becca F. started the scoring with the first of her three goals. The second goal was scored by Becca on a centering pass and assist from Taylor R. Becca started on a fast break and passed it to Alex E. who passed it off to Stevi L. who drill the ball into the back of the goal. Becca ended the scoring on a late unassisted goal. Megan S. and Stevi L. did a fantastic job at goalie where neither allowed one to get by. Awesome job by the defenders not allowing anyone to get by. PAS wins Game 4-0!
Game #6: The game started out fast as Lindsey A. started the scoring with the first of her three goals and assist. Stevi L. was on her game as she scored three goals -two in the first half and one in the second half. Courtney G. ended the first half with an unassisted goal. Natalie M. opened the second half with a goal. Alex started her scoring run late in the second half as she scores two quick goals. Courtney B's Header on a centering pass from Lindsey A. gave short court her first goal of the season. PAS wins 11-1. (One goal short of their ice-cream goal.)
Game #7: 9-0
Game #8: 1-0
PAS gave up only 5 goals this season and scored a total of 35 goals.
