Shark Baseball: Coach Cofield's Corner

The first week of the regular season is upon us and both of our teams are anxious to start playing games that count.  A seemingly short off-season now presents our Seniors with their chance to lead our program to reach the standards set by previous Shark baseball teams.

We hope you'll come out to watch us play at Shark Field or catch us on the road at one of our many local games.  We appreciate all of the support of the Shark baseball parents and GCHS students.  We'll play hard to make you proud and be great representatives of Gulf Coast High School.

Welcome to Coach Cofield's Corner

 I am very excited for the start of a new year.  Each season brings a fresh start and chance to improve.  The last few months have been busy trying to maintain and upgrade the facility and prepare for the pre-season.  I hope the summer has allowed your sons a chance to relax, heal some injuries, and challenge themselves physically for the task ahead.

Attached is a link for the Shark Baseball Diamond Club.  Your financial support allows us to purchase equipment and pay expenses that help improve our program.  We have enjoyed tremendous support from family, friends, and the business community.  We greatly appreciate it!
