Annual Meeting of the Members
This year we will have our Annual
Meeting of the Members on June 4th, 2012 at 7:30pm at the YMCA Concession
Pavilion. Henceforth, this meeting will be held each year on the 1st Monday
of June at 7:30. The purpose of this meeting is to elect the board for the next
year, which will take office on Oct 1st. The current board will remain until
this time. See attached copy of our Constitution and Proposed increase of 2013
board of directors to 19 people.
A General Member is defined as
any person actively interested in furthering the objectives of our
league. This includes all current Managers, Coaches, Board Members, Team
parents, scorekeepers, those who served in Concessions at least once, and/or
those who worked at the fields at least once. Basically, if someone is an
approved volunteer, AND volunteered on at least one occasion, they are
considered a General Member of our league.
*** ONLY General Members in
good standing are eligible to serve on the league board of directors and only
General Members are eligible to attend this meeting and vote.
AFTER REVIEWING THE CONSTITUTION
AND THE DESCRIPTION OF BOARD POSITIONS**, EACH TEAM SHOULD CAREFULLY CONSIDER AND
NOMINATE 2 PEOPLE THAT THEY FEEL WOULD BE QUALIFIED TO SERVE ON THE 2013 GALL
BOARD OF DIRECTORS. ADDITIONALLY, IF SOMEONE WISHES TO VOLUNTEER TO BE
CONSIDERED, TELL THEM TO PLEASE EMAIL ME THEIR NAME AND TEAM. DEADLINE TO
SUBMIT NAMES TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE 2013 GALL BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS END OF THE
DAY THURSDAY, MAY 31ST. PLEASE SUBMIT NAMES TO BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING EMAIL
