Tuesday, June 10 CHALLENGER BASEBALL Imagine a game where the score doesn’t matter (it isn’t even kept), where every player without complaint or condition gives 110% on every play BECAUSE THEY LOVE IT, and where a pure joy of playing the game infects everyone at the park. That’s Challenger Baseball. Some comments overheard at recent Challenger games: “Every Little League player, coach and parent should witness just one game.” “I couldn’t stop crying I was so excited.” “It’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in baseball, and I saw the Braves World Series in 1991”
