FUTURE ELITE LACROSSE: Playing College Lacrosse
Intercollegiate or club, competitive or informal - there are plenty of options for continuing to play lacrosse past high school. Lacrosse is the fastest-growing sport over the last 9 years at the NCAA level, and there are nearly 200 women's collegiate club teams that compete at the US Lacrosse Intercollegiate Associates level (WDIA). Even after college, post-collegiate clubs can keep your skills tuned and your interest high.
All of the Future Elite Lacrosse coaches are committed to helping you attain your dream of playing lacrosse in college - if you want to. From the moment you step on the field with them, the coaches will assist you every step of the way. They will help you create a gameplan, work with you so that you can best represent yourself as a viable candidate, and hone your skills so you can be a recruitable player. But it takes effort on YOUR part first. You have to be proactive, have the thirst to excel, the desire to be coached, and the willingness to listen to and act upon the advice given. All of our coaches are well-connected with college lacrosse programs and coaches across the country and they are eager to work with you over the long-haul. Are you ready for the challenge?
There are a number of recruiting services out there that will help you get recruited (e.g., berecruited.com, lacrosseincollege.com & lacrosserecruits.com) - all for a fee. But with a little research on your part and realistic expectations, you can put yourself in the position to be recruited.
