FRESNO STATE’S AHMADY NAMED PRO-LINE ATHLETIC NATIONAL HITTER OF THE WEEKThe National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) has announced that Fresno State’s Alan Ahmady has been named the Pro-Line Athletic National Player of the Week for the period ending March 30. The NCBWA Board reviews candidates from each Division I Conference each week and names winners each Tuesday throughout the season. Ahmady, a sophomore from Fresno, Calif., hit .583 with 14 hits, eight runs scored, six doubles, three home runs, and 14 RBI as Fresno State went 5-1 last week. In four conference games against Nevada, he hit .600 in 15 at bats with three homers and 10 RBI. He also scored seven runs and had a slugging percentage of 1.467 during the four games against the Pack.

We are teaming up with the Braves to run granite park for that weekend. The 12u team can host a snack bar. I would like to use this money for the pens and to pay for the umpires flight. The pens run about 125.00 a kid. Michelle Delgado is working on the pens. I would like all the parents there that weekend. If somebody wants to head this up let me know this weekend.
