Welcome to the official website of Fremont North National Junior Basketball. Fremont North NJB is a youth basketball league for 3rd through 12th grade boys and girls, ages 8 through 18. 

The Fremont North chapter is bound by the 880 freeway and Mowry Avenue, and is open to ALL NEWARK RESIDENTS. Zip codes 94555, 94536, and 94560. (Residents outside of these zip codes go to njbl.org to locate a chapter)

REGISTRATION FEES: Divisional $225--> All Net & High School $275 

Multiple children discount available at $10 for the 2nd (and/or 3rd child). 

Players that make an All Net team will be required to pay the difference in registration fees before they can attend practice sessions.

Registration Fees provide a 10 game season, post season tournament, uniform, an end of year award, and a picture package.

SPONSORSHIP: Each team must acquire a team sponsor(s)for support of $350.  

Sponsorship money is used to help pay for Practice Gyms, Game Day Gyms, Custiodians, Tournament Fees, Tournament Awards, Scorekeepers and Referees. Letter to obtain sponsorships is under HANDOUTS on the web site. Sponsors donating $200 or more will receive a team plaque.

FUNDRAISING: Due to increased gym fees and mandatory custodian fees --Each player will be provided a fundraising opportunity that totals $100 in value. Players may Opt to "Buyout" for a donation of $70. The buyout must be paid prior to Opening Day in order to play in the first game. No Exceptions will be made.. You can mail in a check to the address on our website or give to your coach at practice. Fundraiser distribution done on the first day of practice.

PARENT VOLUNTEER TIME: We need all parents to become involved in our NJB program. Parents will be required to donate 4 hours of time to assist in running their childs chapter. Some duties include snack bar support, admission/door monitors for tournaments. Team parents will keep parents informed of these duties.

All-Net Try-Outs & Divisional Evaluations will be held on Sunday, Oct 19th at the Silliman Center in Newark on Mowry Avenue...Times are as follows: 

All Boys in 7th/8th Grades wanting to Try-Out for All-Net- 9am-10:30am

Division 1 Boys- 7th/8th Grades- 10:45am-12:15pm

Division 2 Boys- 5th/6th Grades- 12:30pm-1:45pm

Division 3 Boys- 3rd/4th Grades-  2pm-3:30pm

ALL GIRLS DIVISIONS WILL NOT HAVE A TRY-OUT-WE HAVE ENOUGH GIRLS IN EACH DIVISION TO MAKE 1 TEAM. COACHES WILL BE CONTACTING YOU. 

You must bring a copy of your registration form to try-outs to recieve a try-out number. Each player will need to check in at the registration table.

If registration fees are not paid prior to evaluations or you have a balance from last year your child will not be eligable to try out or be put on the list for drafts.
