In an effort to improve the league, we have created a survey for you to complete.  Please complete the survey on the bottom of this page.

A Message from the President

Hello.  My name is Jennifer Luna and I am the 2009-2010 President of Freeport Little League.   We have a fantastic Board of Directors this year and we are very excited for the upcoming season.

Freeport Little League is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers; parents, aunts, uncles, older siblings and grandparents, who help as much or as little as they can to provide the children of Freeport a safe place to run, laugh and play.  We teach the fundamentals of baseball and softball, but we also act as role models, substitute parents, and substitute teachers.  We teach the children the value of teamwork and  sportsmanship; We build their self esteem and help them to be proud of themselves.

While we work hard to do the best that we can, nothing is ever perfect so we are always looking for feedback and ideas on how to improve the current process but we can't do it without you.  Please let us know of your experiences; we hold General Meetings the first Tuesday of every month at 8:00 PM at the Freeport Recreation Center.  Even better, become a member of the Freeport Little League family and volunteer your time.  We are always looking for help, both on the field and with administration.  If you are interested in helping out, please e-mail PlayBall@FreeportLittleLeague.com and express your interest.

Freeport Little League is so much more than just baseball and softball and I am proud to be a part of the process.
