Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-1995
Franklin County started playing fastpitch softball in 1995. The coaching staff consisted of Joe Karsner, Forrest Banta and Ted Marlette. The lone senior on the team was Hope Proctor. The sport got off to a rousing start for Franklin County as the first game ever played was won by a score of 23-0. The Lady Flyers won the first ever fastpitch district title with a hard fought 11-8 win over Western Hills. Franklin County lost to Jessamine County in the regional semi finals, ending the season at 22-6. Named to the all district team were Hope Proctor, Ami Juett, Nicole Marlette and Stacy Ritchie. Members of the all regional team were Hope Proctor and Stacy Ritchie.
Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-1996
Butch Turner joined the Lady Flyer coaching staff in 1996. The Lady Flyers had five seniors on the 1996 squad. Lakeasha Jones, Ami Juett, Nicole Marlette, Stacy Ritchie and Beth Smith. Also, there were two valuable senior managers, Melissa Thompson and Audra Serifini. Franklin County again won the district title with a 11-7 win over Western Hills in the championship game. The Lady Flyers fell to Dunbar in the regional finals 6-5. Franklin County finished a tremendous season ranked 12th in the state and a 20-8 record. Named to the all district team were Ami Juett, Nicole Marlette, Stacy Ritchie and Jennifer Johnson. All regional team members were Ami Juett, Nicole Marlette and Stacy Ritchie. Coach Joe Karsner and Coach Forrest Banta retired after the end of the '96 season.
Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-1997
The 1997 season saw Tracy Spickard take over as head coach of the Lady Flyers. Ted Marlette and Butch Turner remained as assistant coaches. Spickard's first season was highly successful as Franklin County finished with a record of 25-9. Franklin County won the district title with a 10-7 victory over Woodford County. The Lady Flyers lost the final game of the regional tournament 7-4 to Lexington Catholic. Senior team members were Leslie Mahoney, Kelly Newton and Lacresha Peyton. Making the all district tournament team were Peyton, Mahoney, Newton and Allison Story. All regional team members were Lacresha Peyton, Jennifer Johnson and Summer Campbell. Lacresha Peyton was named to the Eastern Kentucky All-Star team.
Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-1998
Franklin County finished the 1998 season with a record of 30-6. The Lady Flyers won the district championship with a 9-3 victory over Western Hills. In the regional tournament Franklin County had wins over East Jessamine and Model before losing to Lafayette 6-4 in the finals. Tia Shramm was the only senior player on the team. Manager, Kara Sheridan, was also lost to graduation. Monica Eichhorn, Jennifer Johnson, Tia Shramm and Allison Story were selected for the all district team. All regional team members were Eichhorn, Johnson and Summer Campbell.
Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-1999
The Lady Flyers finished the 1999 softball season with a 26-12 record. The district tournament was once again won by Franklin Co., beating Western Hills 7-0 in the championship game. Franklin Co. beat Model the first game of the regional tournament. They then lost to Lafayette 3-0 in the semi-final game. The Lady Flyers won the Laker Classic Tournament at Russell Co during the regular season. Senior team members were Lena Beavin, Monica Eichhorn, Jennifer Johnson and Erin Young. Johnson and Eichhorn were named to the Eastern Kentucky All-Star team. All four seniors were named to the Region 10 & 11 All-Star team. Eichhorn and Johnson earned All-State Honorable Mention in 1999. Franklin County finished the season ranked tenth in the state.
Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-2000
Five talented seniors lead the 2000 Lady Flyer softball team. Senior team members were Rachel Baltic, Summer Campbell, Allison Story, Nikki Wethington and Shannon Zeigler. During the regular season the Lady Flyers won the Kenton Lakes Invitational Tournament. Amy Eichhorn was named MVP of the tournament. The Lady Flyers beat Western Hills 4-1 for the district championship. Franklin County defeated Model and Lexington Catholic in the regional tournament before falling to Madison Central in the regional final 2-0. Selected for the all district team were Baltic, Campbell, Story and Zeigler. All regional team members were Eichhorn, Stephanie Vincent and Baltic. Rachel Baltic was named Honorable Mention Allstate. Selected to play in the East-West Allstar game were Baltic, Campbell and Story. Franklin County finished the season ranked 14th in the state and with the most wins in a season with a 31-7 record.
Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-2001
Franklin County's six year run as district champs ended with an opening round loss to Woodford County 7-5. The Lady Flyers ended the year with a 26-10 record and ranked 24th in the state. There were no senior members on this team. 1996 graduate, Nicole Marlette joined the Lady Flyer's coaching staff. During the season Franklin County finished as runners-up in the Lady Flyer Showcase. Amy Eichhorn and Michelle Farler were named to the district tournament all tournament team. Named to the regular season all regional team were Eichhorn and Jessica Turner, first team and Stephanie Vincent second team. Amy Eichhorn was selected as honorable mention all-state.
Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-2002
The 2002 season saw history made as Franklin Co. had its first freshmen softball team. Franklin County recaptured the district crown with a 3-0 victory over Western Hills. The Lady Flyers beat Model 10-1 in the first round of the regional tournament, but lost to Lexington Catholic 2-1 in the semi-final game. Franklin County was rained out 3 of the 4 scheduled weekend tournaments. They finished third in the Owensboro Sports Warehouse Catholic Classic. The Lady Flyers finished the season with a 23-9 record and ranked 16th in the state. Senior team members were Stephanie Campassi and Jessica Turner. Selected to the all district tournament team were MVP Amy Eichhorn, Stephanie Vincent, Brittnie Williams and Myrissa Patton. All regional tournament members were Vincent and Jessica Turner. Regular season all region first team members were Turner, Eichhorn and Vincent. Patton was named to the second team. Jessica Turner was named to the senior East Kentucky allstar team. Named to the Junior East Kentucky allstars were Amy Eichhorn and Stephanie Vincent. Jessica Turner was selected honorable mention all-state and Amy Eichhorn was chosen for the second team all-state.
Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-2003
Three talented seniors Amy Eichhorn, Myrissa Patton and Stephanie Vincent lead the Lady Flyers to their first trip to the state tournament. The Lady Flyers went 2-2 at the state tournament to finish in the elite eight. Franklin Co. defeated Woodford Co. 7-2 in the district finals and Madison Central 4-3 in the regional finals. The Lady Flyers lost to Middlesboro in the opener at the state tournament, then defeated Belfry and Montgomery Co. before being ousted by Greenwood. Franklin Co. finished the season with a 29-15 record and were ranked 25th in the state. Amy Eichhorn, Stephanie Vincent, Myrissa Patton and Lydia McKinney were named to the all district tournament team. Named to the regional tournament team were Eichhorn, Patton, Vincent and Michelle Farler. Eichhorn was name to the state tournament team. The regular season all region team members were first team Amy Eichhorn and Stephanie Vincent and second team Myrissa Patton. Amy Eichhorn was named first team all state and Stephanie Vincent was named honorable mention all state. Eichhorn and Vincent were invited to play in the senior East-West all star game and Michelle Farler was invited to play in the junior East-West all star game. Donnie Spickard was added to the coaching staff to help with the freshmen team.
Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-2004
The 2004 Lady Flyers ended the season with a 27-10-1 record. They were ranked 16th in the state. The Lady Flyers once again won the district tournament, making it three in a row and 9 out of the 10 fastpitch district tournaments. The Lady Flyers defeated Western Hills 6-1 in the district finals. Named to the district tournament team were Brittany Williams, Michelle Farler, Carrie Bistline and Lydia McKinney. Franklin Co. lost to Madison Central in the regional semi-finals 3-2. Regional tournament team members were Brittany Williams and Amy Moore. During the regular season the Lady Flyers won the Oldham Co. Invitational tournament, with Michelle Farler being named tournament MVP. They also won the bronze division of the South Central Sluggerfest V at Allen Co. Senior team members were Lindsey Barley, Katie Columbia, Michelle Farler and Brittany Williams. Farler and Williams were named to first team all-state. Sarah Boden was named to the all-state honorable mention team. Farler and Williams were named to the East Ky senior all stars and Boden and Carrie Bistline were named to the East Ky Junior all stars. 1997 FCHS graduate Lacresha Peyton joined the coaching staff to help with the Freshmen team and pitchers.
Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-2005
The 2005 Lady Flyers finished the season undefeated at home and with a 27-4 overall won/lost record. Three of the four scheduled season tournaments were rained out. Five seasoned seniors were lost to graduation. Senior team members were Carrie Bistline, Sarah Boden, Lydia McKinney, Amy Moore and Amy Perry. Franklin Co. defeated Woodford Co. 6-3 to once again win the district tournament. The Lady Flyers beat Model 5-3 in the first game of the regionals, but were stopped by Dunbar 4-0 in the regional semi-finals. Named to the all district tournament team were Morgan Bullock, Brittany Carpenter, and Amy Perry. Lydia McKinney was named the most valuable player of the tournament. Named to the all regional tournament team were Brittany Carpenter and Lydia McKinney. Amy Perry was named to first team all-state. Second team members were Carrie Bistline and Brittany Carpenter. Sarah Boden was named honorable mention all-state. Boden and Bistline made the senior east all-star team and Carpenter and Sarah Wilson were named to the junior east all-star team. Carpenter was named the junior sectional player of the year. The Flyers ended the season ranked 16th in the state. Donnie Spickard left the coaching staff to help with his twin babies.

Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-2006
The 2006 Lady Flyers ended the season with a record of 13-22. Two valuable seniors, Brittany Carpenter and Sarah Wilson, were lost to graduation. Franklin County lost to Woodford Co. 3-2 in the finals of the district tournament to finish as district runnersup. The Lady Flyers lost in the first round of the regional tournament to Lafayette 5-1 to end the season. Named to the district tournament team were Madelyn Brown, Morgan Bullock and Brittany Carpenter. Carpenter was also named to the regional tournament team. Carpenter made the all-state 2nd team and was named to the senior east all-star team. Bullock was named to the junior east all-star team. Carpenter was selected to play in the first Kentucky/Tennessee allstar game.

Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-2007
Myrissa Patton, a 2003 FCHS graduate, joined the Lady Flyer coaching staff to replace Lacresha Peyton who left to become a fastpitch softball official. Three seniors Morgan Bullock, Ashley Bush and Brette Hogan were lost to graduation. The Lady Flyers finished the 2007 season with a record of 17-19-1. They lost to Western Hills 6-5 in 9 innings in the opening round of the district tournament. Named to the district all tournament team were Morgan Bullock and Katie Bauer. Bullock was named 2nd team all-state and selected to play on the Senior East Kentucky All-Star Team. She was also selected to play in the Kentucky/Tennessee All-Star games. Ally Johnson was an alternate on the Junior East Kentucky All-Star Team.

Lady Flyer Fastpitch Softball-2008
The Lady Flyers ended the 2008 softball campaign with a season record of 23-16 and ranked 25th in the state. Two seniors were lost to graduation Alison Hamilton and Ally Johnson. Franklin County regained the district title with a hard fought 2-1 win over Western Hills in the district finals, but fell to Henry Clay 3-0 in the first round of the regional tournament. Named to the district tournament team were MVP Ally Johnson, Madelyn Brown, Abby Davis and Emily Hampton. Lady Flyers on the regular season all district team were Mollie Stephens, Ally Johnson and Madelyn Brown. Johnson made the all regional tournament team. Ally Johnson was also named first team all-state and played on the senior east/west all-star team. Madelyn Brown was selected to play on the junior east/west all-star team. During the regular season the Lady Flyers won the championship of the Cumberland Falls Invitational Tournament.
