- Who Can Register?:
We have limited space available for children from the ages of 5 - 8 who live within the league's boundaries. Your child's age is based on their age as of April 30th, 2012. If your child has not turned 5 years old on or before April 30th 2012, s/he is not eligible to play. There can be NO exceptions to these rules as they are dictated by Little League International and by our insurance coverage. Before registering, send email to our registrar to check on available space - registrar@fpesll.com

- League Boundaries:
The Fox Point/East Side Little League is open only to children who live in the Fox Point/East Side area. There are no exceptions. Your child is not eligible to play in our league if you live outside the league boundaries. Our league is bounded on the north by the Providence/Pawtucket line, to the east by the Seekonk River, to the south by Interstate 195 and to the west by Interstate 95.

- Birth Certificates:
All players must have a copy of a government-issued proof-of-age document (birth certificate or passport) on file with the league. If your child is new to the Fox Point/East Side Little League this year, you must provide us with an original proof-of-age document (birth certificate or passport) during the Spring Tryout/Evaluation Sessions. We will make a photocopy of your original document and return the original document to you on the spot. If your child is a returning player, we already have a birth certificate on file; you do NOT need to provide us with another one! Please note: Religious documents such as baptismal certificates are NOT valid for this purpose.

- Team Selection Process:
During our team selection process we strive to ensure that:
- teams within each division are well balanced and fair
- each child is placed in the division that is the best match for his/her developmental skills
- siblings (in the same division) are assigned together or apart per their parent's wishes
- girls are balanced among the teams - whenever possible, at least 2 girls will be placed on each team
We rely on our evaluation sessions to place our older (10+) players and our coaches' knowlege of the players in order to make the team assignments for the younger players.
