Bat Busters Sign with College

Please join us in congratulating Danielle Jones!

Danielle signed with Bossier Parish Community College.

Danielle joined Batbusters (Edwards) last year as a pitcher. We soon found that Danielle had more to offer the team than just pitching ability. When Danielle wasn't pitching she rotated into different positions in the outfield. She made several key catches for us and swings a pretty mean bat as well. Danielle gratuated from Hallsville high school !!

Congratulations Danielle, we are very, very proud of you and wish you all the best with the Lady Cavaliers!

'94 Bat Busters (Montoya) Play ASA Nationals in California

The '94 Bat Busters placed 9th out of 64 teams....
94 Batbusters (Montoya) played 8 games with a record of 5-3 and 4-2 in bracket play. They played very tough teams starting with Atlanta Vipers 94 winning 9-5. Then faced California Breeze winning 3-1. They then faced 94 Corona Angels and lost 5-1. They went to the losers bracket on Saturday and faced Anderson Heat and won 5-4. Then it was the battle of the last two Texas teams at nationals. The Texas Peppers who had previously beat the '94 Bat Busters twice at the HOF in Oklahoma. The girls sent a strong message that they were the better Texas team at nationals by beating them 11-1. On their third game of the day they girls faced Salina Storm from California and went scoreless for 7 innings only to lose 1-0 at the final at bat.  Great Job girls! We are very proud of you.
