State Player of the Year, 2000, Ty Forehand, and only THS player to start on both the 1998 & 2000 State teams, attending Radford this fall; Ben Hamrick, middle for our 1998 State Finalist team and Virginia Tech student; Paul Curtis, outside hitter for our 1998 State Finalist team and James Madison University student; State Player of the Year, 1998, Brendan Rooney, now attending college and working in Charleston, SC; and Justin Hales, Academic All-State, 2000 heading to Virginia Tech this fall.
Rooney was team captain in 1998; Forehand and Hales were captains in 2000. Forehand, Rooney, and Hales are members of the Tallwood Hall of Fame.

S-E-X-Y!!! Banner Girls--Amy, Brooke, and Kori cavort with giggle-girl Miranda! Always remember how we raised the roof the Saturday night we stopped Salem and earned the first-ever girls banner in Tallwood history. If you were there, you'll never forget it! Miss you Sarah and Arlene!!!
