2008 Fall Season a Huge Success

WOW !!  Another terrific season.  Our team finished the fall season with a record of 21-5-8.  The girls took first place in the Saturday BBSL U11-A League, second place in the Sunday CMSA U11-A league, had 2 tournament championships (Gettysburg & Freedom First), and had 2 tournament runner-up finishes (SAC Columbus Day & Fallston Cup - that went into sudden death OT).  Thanks to everyone who helped make this season a success.  Way to go Forest Hill Force Girls 98!

Monday, August 25
Girls Set High Water Mark of Their Own in Gettysburg; 6-0-0 Record Nets Fourth Consecutive Tournament!


Our Forest Hill Force ladies won 3 straight seeding games to earn the Number 1 spot.  Then, they defeated the #8, #5, and #3 seeds en route to the victory. The team showed incredible heart and skill all weekend, but particularly in the Championship Game.  Trailing for the first time all weekend, the Force tied the score with less than 5 minutes remaining.  They sealed the win with a another goal less than 4 minutes into overtime.  The coaches and parents are so very proud of our players!  Congratulations, ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Force To Be Reckoned With -- Girls Win First Tournament of New Season!

The Force has been busy since Memorial Day weekend.  The team welcomed back 11 returning players, and added Cassie and Emily to the squad.   In addition, Coach Rick assumed head coaching responsibilities, and Coach Bob joined the staff as an assistant coach.  The Force never missed a beat as it won the Freedom First tournament, its third straight tournament win dating back to April of 2008.  The Force won 3 games and tied 1 over the weekend, yielding just one goal en route to the championship.  CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Columbia Invitational - Champions!

The girls played great soccer the entire Memorial Day Weekend, going 4-0 and winning the tournament. To advance to the finals, the girls defeated FCF Frederick Black 1-0, the Freestate Falcons 6-2, and the Freestate Fury 1-0. In the championship game, the girls defeated FCF Frederick Black 3-1.  Way to go ladies!!!!!

Sunday, March 23
Chesapeake Cup (Champions!)

The girls did a great job in our second Chesapeake Cup! Playing in the gold division, the girls won the championship! Thanks to all the parents for their help with the fun day in Elkton - it was a great day of fellowship and fun. Special thanks to the Neffs for the RV usage! Great job soccer girls!
