We restrict certain areas of our site to protect the privacy of our players and to secure their personal information from unwanted attention. There are some areas that are open to the public, but our rosters and player personal information are restricted, as are other areas. You must have member access to view protected pages.

While surfing our site, if you try to access a restricted page it will require you to login. FURY TRYOUTS

The 2010 Florida Fury will hold OPEN Tryouts on February 21 at 10am - noon at Betti Stradling Park in Coral Springs. Please see additional information regarding the tryouts under "Fury Tryouts" in the left navigation menu.

FURY ORGANIZATION HOSTING TOURNAMENTS IN 2010 

The Florida Fury will be the sponsoring organization of multiple tournaments in 2010, and will work with Fastpitch Headquarters and LDI Sports Consulting & Instruction on these events.

June 18-20         Florida Cup & Showcase in Naples FL

July 23-25          Mid-West Summer Signature Showcase in Ohio  

Sept 24-26         Early Fall Signature Showcase in Naples FL

Proceeds from these events will benefit the Florida Fury Softball Program and other FPHQ programs.

PRACTICE UNIFORM SCHEDULE

When we have practice on the following days, please wear the assigned uniform. 

TEXT MESSAGING SERVICE

ALL players and their parents MUST register their email addresses and their cell phone numbers in order to receive text/email communications from your coaches. We will not be able to make individual phone calls when we have practice or game changes. We will only be using this service.

To sign up:

Go to http://fastpitch.ealert.com and click on "Subscribe". You will see Florida Fury listed under Travel Team (FL). We highly suggest that all players select both Florida Fury groups and any tournaments we are hosting or attending, and subscribe to all at one time. Then input your email address and your cell phone number as an email address. If you have more than 2 addresses, you will need to subscribe additional times. You can register as many email addresses and cell phone numbers as you want.

Cell phone numbers MUST be entered as an email address. There is a link to instructions on the page on how to convert your cell phone number to an email address. This is really easy to do. Make sure that you DO NOT put the "dash" between numbers.

Once you register an address, you will receive a confirmation message that you MUST reply to in order to activate your address. If you do not receive the confirmation message within a few minutes, you did not enter your address properly so try again.

GET YOUR SUMMER FORMS!

Players and Parents - It is very important that we get the signed forms (everyone), birth certificates/drivers license copies, and insurance card copies as soon as possible. Even if you are a returner, you are required to re-sign the required forms. Please complete the forms that were included in your packet, or download them from Handouts, have them signed by all parties, and bring them to the next organizational meeting.

Players who do not have a driver's license or learner's license need to get a State ID card from the DMV. This is needed for plane travel, and for photo identification at tournaments. Please make an appointment to get this done as soon as possible.

Please make sure that ALL signatures are on ALL papers when you turn them in.

In order to facilitate credit card donations to our team and to eliminate the exorbitant fees charged by some fundraising organizations, we are using the resources of Fastpitch Headquarters for our online donations.

Using FPDonations, we are only charged 2.9% + .30 per transaction, which is well below the fees charged by fundraising companies and is comparable to normal transaction fees charged by credit card companies for merchant accounts without having the fixed monthly fees associated with a merchant account.

To make a credit card donation to the Florida Fury Softball Organization, click on the "Donate" link below and you will be taken to the Fastpitch Headquarters website where you can make your donation via a secure link with PayPal. You DO NOT need a PayPal account to do this.

The donation will be credited to the Florida Fury account. If you want one player to receive the credit, please put her name in the "Player's Name" field.

If you choose to increase your donation to cover the minimal fee, we would appreciate it.

If you prefer to make a check donation to Florida Fury, you should make your check payable to "Florida Fury", and mail it to:

Be sure to write the Player Name on the check. There is no processing fee associated with check donations so more money goes to the girls. Thank you.
