INDIANA ICE PLAYERS NEED HOST FAMILIES
FYHA Family and Friends,
The Indiana Ice Hockey Team is looking for a few more families to host hockey players for the upcoming season. If anyone has any questions please call Bob McCutcheon at 317-507-5135.
PRACTICE AND GAME ICE WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY
WHEN THE WEATHER TURNS BAD THE QUESTION ARISES, DOES FYHA CANCEL PRACTICES AND GAMES. THE RULE IS AS LONG AS THE FORUM AT FISHERS IS OPEN, THEN WE WILL HAVE OUR SCHEDULED PRACTICES AND GAMES.
WE UNDERSTAND THAT SOME INDIVIDUALS ARE UNABLE TO MAKE PRACTICE DUE TO THE WEATHER. WE SAY, IF YOU DO NOT FEEL SAFE TRAVELING ON SNOW AND ICE COVERED ROADS, THEN PLEASE DO NOT FEEL OBLIGATED TO COME TO THE RINK. WE ASK IS THAT YOU NOTIFY YOUR COACH SO HE/SHE IS NOT WONDERING WHERE YOU ARE. ALSO, IT IS ADVISABLE TO CALL THE COACH TO MAKE SURE HE/SHE WILL BE ABLE TO BE AT PRACTICE/GAME.
IF THE RINK IS CLOSED, THEY WILL NOTIFY FYHA AND WE WILL NOTIFY THE HEAD COACHES OF THE CANCELLATION AND PUT IT ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THE WEBSITE.
