I have had the pleasure of coaching many great ballplayers over the years. Many of them are now going off to college or are commiting to play college ball and receiving scholarships:
Heather Nelson - Indiana
Dalyn Varela - Iowa State
Bianca Lopez - Iowa State
Jackie Guy - Illinois
Courtney Wilhelm - Cal State San Bernardino
Vanessa Lenart - Wagner College
Kalyn Castillo - Louisville
Lauren Holmes - Hawaii-Hilo
Bryanne Evans - Michigan
Brianna Smith - Barry College
Melanie Bensema - Michigan State
I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with these great athletes. They are all very different....but had one thing in common....huge hearts and a neverending will to succeed. Congratulations, ladies.

The Norco Fillys 16U (Rainwater) will be participating in the ASA National Qualifier in Sterling, Virginia on the weekend of July 7-9, 2006. Each parent should be booking now for their daughter and making hotel reservations at the Days Inn in Leesburg. This will allow us to play in local qualifiers at SoCal State, the Region 14 National Qualifier, and/or the Region 14 Tournament. There will be no more changes in where we are going...unless we change our minds. Lets get it done so that we can prepare for Seattle in August. I'm flying into Baltimore on Southwest Airlines...nonrefundable from Ontario for less than $400 per ticket.
Dulles AP to Purcellville (20 minutes)
Reagan National AP to Purcellville (45 minutes)
Baltimore AP to Purcellville (90 minutes)

The 3rd Norco Fillys Fundraiser Golf Tournament will be held June 23rd at Paradise Knolls Golf Course in Mira Loma. The tournament will have a shotgun start at 12:30PM, cost $80 per golfer and will be played in a 4-some scramble format. Box lunches, carts, and hospitality bags are included in the the per player fee. Hole sponsorships are $100 per hole and there will be prize drawings after play is completed. We would like each player to bring in at least one foursome and a door prize or hole sponsor. The more players we have, the more money the team makes....and the less money it will cost each family to attend ASA Nationals.
