WHERE CHAMPIONS ARE MADE!
This site is for the Fern Creek Wrestling Club, a wrestling club for elementary, middle school and high school aged kids. This club is devoted to the development of youth through the sport of wrestling.
The club was founded in 2000 and is supported by the Fern Creek Optimist. The team practices and conducts dual meets and tournaments at Fern Creek High School, 9115 Fern Creek Road, Louisville, KY 40291. Fern Creek, KY is located on the south east side of Louisville, KY. Our teams compete in the elementary and middle school divisions during the Kentucky Season. We compete as a club team (all ages) after the high school season at tournaments in and out of state. We are proud to say our wrestlers have competed in tournaments in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Kansas, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, New York, Georgia, North Dakota, Virginia, and West Virginia. We are always interested in hearing about tournaments or other teams to wrestle.
If you are a coach and would be interested in setting up a match or tournament appearance please contact the Coach listed on the Front Page in the left margin.
Thanks for visiting our site and be sure to sign our guestbook.
WRESTLING - MORE THAN A SPORT!
"Wrestling is more than just a sport. To most of us, it is something that becomes part of who you are as a man. The lessons learned on the mat, be it in practice or in competition, are some of the best character building events a young person could ever ask for.
It was always my experience that guys who had wrestling experience were ahead of their peers in the areas of self-discipline, mental toughness and the "refuse to lose" mentality that it takes to perform well under the pressure of combat" Unknown United States Navy Seal
