Far North Little League Opening Day Ceremonies
Saturday May 19, 2012
Far North Bicentennial Park on Elmore Road at Coventry
Come to officially open the 2012 baseball/softball season
Players arrive in full uniform no later than 11:00. Every player, family member, friend and the community is invited to Opening Day Ceremonies at the Far North fields. This exciting day kicks off with recognition of every player and coach, first pitches of the season, flag ceremony and singing the national anthem. Then, the barbeque continues along with carnival games, activities, and live baseball games. All activities are free and the BBQ is reasonably priced so all can partake. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for a great picnic on the grass.
Many volunteers are needed to make this event a success. Sign up to volunteer at the BBQ, concessions stand, or carnival activities at http://www.volunteerspot.com/login/entry/892345634612572077.

The league is operated 100% by volunteers and we are in need of more volunteers for the season. In fact, we need volunteers from every family. Please register online at our registration link below as a volunteer to coach, umpire, be a team parent, help with field maintenance, assist with concessions, help on opening day, etc. Our quality program is a reflection of our wonderful volunteers!
And remember, if you do not have the time or ability to volunteer, you can always contribute by requesting donations for the league from organizations and businesses.

FNLL Invites YOU to Volunteer for the 2012 Season!
If you enjoy baseball/softball, supporting kids and being involved in our community, Far North Little League is a great place to volunteer. Our league is operated solely by volunteers with various backgrounds and skills that are interested in the betterment of our league and the children in it. Since our board of directors is mainly parents and relatives of children currently involved in the league, we need new members each and every year. Please attend our annual membership meeting to see how you can become part of this wonderful team.
