Fairport Packers Youth Football and Cheerleading: Welcome

The Fairport Packers organization promotes the values of sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and integrity. We teach these principles in the context of competitive play and consider the winning of games secondary to the development of good character.

The Packers organize cheerleading and football squads for youths ranging in age from 6 to 14 in the Perinton/Fairport NY area. Youths from 6-8 are eligible for our Flag and D team cheerleading or football squads. (D team players must have participated in flag program for one year prior to being placed on the  D team.) Youths from 8-14 are eligible for one of our "contact" squads (players must meet weight requirements).

Flag is a non-contact intramural squad. The other squads (C,B,A) are contact and compete with other teams in the Monroe/Wayne County area: Brighton, Brockport, Gates, Greece, Hilton, Irondequoit, North West (Rochester City), Penfield, Pittsford, Rush Henrietta, Wayne, Victor, Churchville, and Webster. The teams are divided into three  divisions- American, National and Central. Each division plays 7 games during the regular season with one playoff game and one championship game.

The D team is new to the Packers this season and is considered an intramural squad. The "D" represents the developmental nature of the program. It was developed as an introduction to the contact program for those players who were not ready to jump right into the physical game of the "C" team.

Early Registration for 2009 Football and Cheerleading can be done immediately.  Early registrations can be turned in during the year-end banquet.  Please make sure all registration checks are made out to FPAA.  If you are unable to attend the banquet, early registration cut off for returning players/cheerleaders, their siblings and legacy members is December 1st.  Please check back soon for appropriate mailing addresses.

PLEASE NOTE: Flag players who would like to move up to the C level will be able to register from December 1st thru December 15th.  

Fairport Packers Football and Cheerleading will again have our Bottle and Can Fundraiser.  This year, all you have to do is drop your bottles and cans off at the EZ Bottle and Can Return at 1259 Fairport Road (located between Perinton Park and Baird Road).  Just tell them that you want the donation to go to the Fairport Packers.

EZ Bottle and Can Return is a New York State Bottle and Can Redemption Center, located in Fairport NY that talks all brands and sizes of NYS returnable bottles and cans.   No Lines! - No Machines! - No Waiting!
