By-Laws Modification

Notice is made of a recommended change to the Booster Club By-Laws, Article 8.01.  The modification is to allow the Booster Club to pay an individual to coordinate and operate the concession stand at home football games on behalf of the Club, and to allow the Club to employ an Administrative Assistant to facilitate administrative duties at the High School on behalf of the Club.  These duties would include collecting membership fees and forms, coordinating distribution and collection of Drawdown and Pancake Breakfast tickets and monies, and coordinating Club activities with the coaching staff and administration at the High School.  The proposed modification will change the last sentence of Article 8.01 to read:  "No individual shall gain private profit from the Club, except the Booster Club may employ:

1.  Person to coordinate and operate the concession stand for home football games on behalf of the Club,

2.  Administrative Assistant.

New Officers Elected for 2012-2013

At the June Booster Club meeting, new officers were elected by the membership.  The following officers were elected to office for the school year 2012-2013:

The Booster Club Drawdown is set for Saturday 20 October at the Fairhope Civic Center.  Mark your calendars for an evening of great food and drink, live music, a great silent auction, and a chance to win $5000!  Tickets will go on sale in late August.  Don't miss it!
