Thursday, August 14 WELCOME TO THE FAIRBORN WEE HAWKS 2008 YOUTH FOOTBALL SEASON
The Wee Hawk Board of Directors would like to welcome everyone to the 2008 football season. Our Goal is to offer your child the best experience possible. In order to ensure that families are kept informed, we will hold weekly "Parent Meetings" throughout the season. Subsequent meetings will be held on mandatory practice nights. However, please feel free to contact any of your board members at any time if there are issues that you would like to discuss. All parents should click on the WOJFC Documents Link on the menu to the left and familiarize themselves with the Conference Constitution, By-laws, Playing Rules, and Coaches and Parents "Code of Ethics". This is a "mandatory read" for all Wee Hawk Coaches and Board Members. Ride shares: As an organization, we always try to honor the requests of parents. However, ride share requests are not guaranteed, and other arrangements may have to made.

Fairborn Hosting Round Two of WOJFC Conference Tournament Home Teams: Fairborn Blue 3rd Grade plays at 10:30am and Fairborn Blue 4th Grade plays at 12:00pm Home Team: Fairborn White 5th Grade plays AWAY at 1:30pm in Xenia GOOD LUCK WEE HAWKS; TAKE US TO THE NEXT ROUND Closing Ceremony Info is as follows: Fairborn Wee Hawks Closing Ceremonies FHS Auditorium Wednesday November 5, 2008 at 6:00pm Trophies will be passed out then and coached will be given about five minutes to speak and address their teams. ALL EQUIPMENT MUST BE TURNED IN BY CLOSING CEREMONIES TO RECEIVE YOUR TROPHY. If you are still in the tournaments disregard the need for equipment before trophy. Also, if you still have not turned in your equipment PLEASE bring it to the BLUE building on Monday November 3, 2008 at 6:00pm. Thank you all for a WONDERFUL season and we can't wait until next year... FOOTBALL PRACTICE SCHEDULE Practices will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 pm starting next week (Aug 18). Any child who misses any practice time without notification to the coach is subject to missed playing time during the games which in turn could affect their minimum playing time of 5 plays per half. Assigned Team Practice Fields are as follows: 6th Grade Blue: Diamond 3 6th Grade White: Diamond 2 5th Grade Blue and White: Diamond 4 4th Grade Blue and White: Diamond 1 3rd Grade White: Diamond 5 3rd Grade Blue: Diamond 8 and between Diamond 7 and the Football Field Bantam Blue: Diamond 6 Bantam White Diamond 7
CHEERLEADING PRACTICE SCHEDULE Cheer Bloomers and socks are $12.00 and can be pick up at the Hawk Shop. Also if you would like to purchase warm up outifts for them you can try on samples at the Hawk Shop and place a order. Practice will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Any child who misses any practice time without notification to the coach is subject to missed cheer time during the games.
