Congradulations to Andrew Brown and Willie B. Livingston for making the final roster for the San Angelo Stampede Express. While at the NAFL All-Star game Andrew Brown and Willie B. Livingston were signed by the Stampede to training camp contract with no promise of making the team. Well tha final cuts have been made, and the two are officially on the team, and we look forward to keeping up with their careers in hopes of greater things to come.

Falcons Player Selected For Draft...
The Falcons are pleased to announce that WR #3 Brian Lewis has been selected to be in the AAFL Draft (All American Football League). The AAFL is comprised of a single team from different states, and the players for these teams are comprised of a lot of former college and pro players for those individual states, to include up and coming talent. The draft will be held on 25 Jan 08. We are optimistic about Brian’s chances, and look forward to the possibility of seeing him play at “The Swamp” in Gainesville.

Falcons Players Get A Second Look
The Scouting Bureau invited a few Falcons players an opportunity to perform combine workouts on 24 Nov 2007 at Fort Walton Beach High School, in order to take a second look at them for college and professional teams. The players invited were DE #25 Willie B Livingston, WR #14 Terrence Lowery, RB #40 Anthony Coward, RB #45 Anthony Baker, and S #8 Ashley McCormick. With the workouts going as well or better than expected we look forward to hopefully hearing good things for these players in the coming future. You can take a look at the Scouting Bureau at www.thescoutingbureau.com to find out what it is they do for our athletes, and the possibilities they may provide.

Falcons Have Success At All-Star Game
Of all the Falcons players selected for the All-Stars, 8 (above pic) made the trip (the most in team history). With 10 contracts rewarded at All-Star weekend, 3 of those contracts went to Falcons players (WR #3 Brian Lewis, LB #18 Blake Moore, K/P #0 Andrew Brown). These 3 players were signed to an Indoor Football team, the San Angelo Stampede Express (below pic). DE #25 Willie B Livingston, S #8 Ashley McCormick, and OL #50 Adam Mooney where all asked to come to Texas for a second look. The Falcons continued their streak of getting players college scholarships or professional contracts. This is #7 with more to come. The Falcons would like to thank Cheer's Pub and Ben for their sponsorship and helping these guys dreams come true.

Another Falcon Leaves The Nest
Bruce Aycock played tackle for the Falcons last year has made it back to his original position of Tight End with Greensboro College. Bruce played Tight End in the East vs. West All-Star game in Orlando for the West Squad. The Falcons will surely miss his talents this year

John Halman , WR #5, recieves full scholarship to Concordia College Selma in Alabama
John Halman, WR #5, will be attending Concordia College of Selma starting this July. John was offered his FULL scholarship while at a try-out for the Ottawa Renegades of the Canadian Football League (CFL)on Feb 18th.
The Falcons were proud to have John on the team. He was a tremendous talent, and an even better teamate. The Falcons would also like to wish him the greatest success in his future endevour and looking forward to keeping track of his playing career while in college.
My personal best wishes to John as a former teamate, and present owner.

RB (#2) Kevin Pinkard Hired as RB's Coach for Lambuth University
Fort Walton Beach Falcons running back (#2) Kevin Pinkard has been hired by Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee to be their Running Backs Coach. The Falcons would like to congratulate Kevin with his recent hiring and wish him well in his new career. The Falcons are proud to have had Kevin as a player and a part of its organization. We look forward to seeing Kevin succeed in his new coaching career.
Greg West gets Scholarship
I want to congradulate Greg West #7 on his getting a scholarship to Baker University in Kansas. Greg will be leaving for Kansas in May the Falcons want to wish him the best of luck.
Congrats 2005 All-Stars
I wanted to send a congratulations to Brian Lewis and Kirk Slay for making it to the NAFL All-Stars second team. Brian Lewis made the team as a WR. Kirk Slay made the team as a DB. Make sure you congratulate these guys when you see them. Next year I hope we have more to represent us.
