How can I register my child for camp
There are two ways to register your child for camp. You can print the registration forms here and mail forms along with payment to our office or you can register online here through our secure registration website.
What is the cost for my child to attend camp?
The cost to attend camp is $375 for over night campers and $275 for commuter campers.
Are there any discounts available?
Yes! Register by June 1st and receive a $25 discount from the total camp cost. An additonal $25 discount is available for previous Seminole Campers who refer a new camper to camp for 2009. Both discounts are applied toward total camp costs and are a one-time discount. There are no additional discounts for multiple referrals.
What is the difference between my child staying overnight or commuting?
If your child is an overnight camper, he will stay in a dorm on the FSU campus, eat all meals on campus, and will be transported by official camp transportation for the duration of the camp. Commuter campers will be dropped off each morning and picked up each evening by a parent/guardian. Commuter campers will be fed lunch everyday with an option to stay for dinner each evening. Are there any additional costs for camp?
There are no additional costs for camps, but your camper can deposit money into the camp bank at the beginning of camp.
What dorm will overnight campers stay in?
The dorm for the 2009 Seminole Basketball Camp has not been finalized yet. In the past, campers have stayed in Salley Hall. Please check back here for more updated information.
Who supervises ovenight campers after hours?
Camp staff supervise all campers at all times. Camp staff supervise overnight campers after hours in the dorms.
Where will the campers eat their meals?
The exact location for meals has not been determined. All meals will be eaten on campus. In the past campers have eaten meals in the Suwannee Room.
Will there be snacks provided between meals?
Water is available to all campers throughout the day. A camp store sells various snack and beverage items. To purchase items from the store, campers must have money in their Camp Bank.
What is the camp bank?
The camp bank is similar to a debit account. Campers will deposit money into the camp bank at the beginning of camp. The money in the camp bank is used for purchasing items from the camp store. Instead of having to maintain dollar bills and change throughout the week, campers simply give their name to the Camp Staff at the store and the amount of their purchase is debited from their account. The average amount of money put into the camp bank is $25. Any money left in the camper's account at the end of the week will be returned to him.
How are the campers transported around campus?
Local school buses and state liscensed drivers are used to transport campers and staff to and from various locations on campus.

What do I do about medicine for my child who is staying overnight?
The FSU Men's Basketball Athletic Trainer will take all medicine when your child arrives for the first day of camp. You can also fill out an instruction form during check-in on the first day of camp.
