Tournament Results
WolfPac 12 - Shockwave 6
Defense stepped up big and shut them down the 1st half and made them eat most of the 2nd half to get there only score. Running game was off the chain in this one. Steve and Chop looked like old school NEBRASKA teams running that option.......Good blocking all game by EVERYBODY on offense. The dash for the CASH was complete and it sure was sweet to have it laid in our hands at midfield!
Congrats to Steve and Gates for being named Tournament MVP's!
WolfPac 6 - Shockwave 12
D started off great and played good until late and gave up a score but the O went down and tied and looked to take the lead but the PAT was ruled short even though the ball was reached across. then we gave up a 50 yard Penalty on pass Interference that sat up the winning TD for the at the 10yard line. O almost got down there in 21 seconds but fell short. O dropped several passes at the beginning that killed scoring chances. Got to start catching the football....ALL OF US!
WolfPac 20 - Ga Evolution 19
D was confused in this one and the O had 2 sure TD's drops that would have put some distance between us and them....one by ME as time expires in the 1st half....but we managed to drive down and score and get the 2pt PAT on a huge throw by Steve and a bigger catch by Gates for the WIN!
WolfPac 30 - Shockwave 15
This one was back and forth until Gates got his 1st INT of the game then Steve hit Dreads who was ballin like crazy this weekend...lookin like Moss...then they score to make it 15-12 them.... and Steve hits Scott K streakin...that's right Streaking thru the 2 saftey's for a 60 yard TD to put us up 18-15 and we never looked back. Then the D made another hold and the O takes advantage to go up 24-15 on another Steve to Dreads bomb...Gates seals it with a INT for a TD to end any comeback chances.
WolfPac 12 - Gang Green 0
We looked a lil rusty in this one but the D stepped up and kept them from making anything happen on offense. O finally got going and scored on a bomb from Steve to Shannon and later score in the 2nd half on a Steve to Scott TD pass.
