“THE MYSTIQUE STARTS HERE!”

       In years past, the children of the Ridley School District usually had to wait until they reached the high school to find out about “The Green Mystique”, the aura that surrounds the sports programs of Ridley. The “Mystique” represents pride in your school and community, dedication to your team, coaches and teammates, to achieve success at the highest levels, both in the classroom and on the field of play. Size and speed are secondary to heart and determination to be the best.  Win or lose, knowing that you gave your best effort, treating your opponents with  respect and demonstrating good sportsmanship are just some of the things that describe the “Mystique”.  Most of the surrounding school districts have one unified football and cheerleading program.  The Ridley area has multiple teams competing against themselves.  Beginning this year, all of the children residing in the Ridley School District will now have the opportunity to be a part of that “Mystique”. 

    The Swarthmorewood and Folsom Athletic Associations are sponsoring the new Ridley Raiders Youth Football and Cheerleading programs beginning play this fall in the Bert Bell Memorial Conference. Our goal is to offer these children the opportunity to be teammates rather than opponents, to help build new friendships, to let them know how special it is to be a Ridley Raider.   

     Registrations will begin in the spring, open to ALL children in the Ridley School District and also to the private schools in the area.  The team colors will be green and white and the uniforms will be similar to those worn by the Ridley High School football and cheerleading teams.

Come join the future of the mystique!  We continue our quest to unify the communities and bring the Ridley Football and Cheerleading experience to your sons and daughters.  We will be hosting football and cheerleading registrations at the Ridley Community Center (the old Ridley High School) on the dates listed below.

Registration Dates: 

Wednesdays from 6 to 8 PM:

 May 27^th  

June 10^th & 24^th  

July 8^th, 22^nd, and 29^th 

Saturdays from 10am to 12pm

May 30^th 

June 13^th and 27^th
