Future Leaders of Tomorrow is a youth organization that is filled with Servant Leaders for our youth.  Our  mission is to enusre that we provide each  youth with the positive development one will need to be productive citizen of  the worls.   We  are in the business of building Future Leaders in with that  in mind we are preparing ourself to work  diligently  to fully establishing a foundation that will  not only  serve the youth  but his family as well. In order for one to  be a leader their home must be filled with the positve re-enforcement that one obtain  while at  school, at community  centers, at  sporting event and or when they are with their mentor.

We have been in existence since  2000 and in  our  short  history we were able  to make ground breaking steps in the direction of helping save our  youth.  In 2003 we held the first Youth Peace in the Streets March in Newark, NJ with youth members of the bloods  and crips in attendance. At this  youth  march we were able to have a Teen Summit that alllow many scholars from the community to share their opinion on the  community, parenting, schools, and violence. At  this same youth summit we were able to  encourage  the youth bloods  and crips  to formulate a  Peace Treaty and Sign it in which some  signed it and some did not. This March ignited the people of the community and we begun  to see marches for peace throughout the  city which was wonderful.

Our biggest achievement thust far was what happen after the  Youth March which was the Battle of the Bricks a basketball  league that is geared toward the wall breaking that divided the communities within the housing development due to  gang turf.  A  program  that started with  three  housing developments and 36 youth have now tripled  that just six years  later to 10  housing sites and more than  300 youth participating in  this basketball league..  This basketball league is a basketball league that encourage  fellowship and unity among the youth in these sites that are heavily divided by gang terroritory.  We provide all participant  with a positive  word of the  day that we expect them to carry out with them  throughout the week.
