District 22 Remembers Cocoa Little League's JC Cowan 

District 22 Ready for The Big League Baseball State Tournament!!

Starting Friday evening, 5:00 pm out at Mitchell Ellington Field on North Merritt Island, the Big League Baseball State tournament will begin.  Teams are coming in from all over the state to participate.  7 games will be played on Saturday and the semi-finals and finals will be played on Sunday.  To have a look at the game schedule click on the Schedules tab on the left, odd numbered sections are in Pool A, even numbered sections are in Pool B.  Game results will be entered on this website soon after the games are over, hopefully minutes after the game ends, so fans out of town can see the results quickly!  Good Luck to all entrants!!!

Merritt Island LL is Hosting Fall Ball this Year!

Entry fee is $55, registration dates are 7/11, 7/18, 7/23 & 7/25, Saturday dates are from 10am-12pm, 7/23 is from 6-8pm held on the South Field.  Practices begin in August, play is from September thru mid November.  For more info go to the Merritt Island LL website located in the Links tab on left or call 452-8231.

Congratulations to Merritt Island Little League's Mike Hainsel, District 22 UIC Don Guilford and Indian River City Little League's Dan Lawrence!   

Mike has been selected to umpire in the 2009 Junior Baseball Southern Regional Tournament taking place in Cartersville, Georgia.

Don has also been selected to umpire in the 2009 Major Softball Southern Regional Tournament taking place in Ceredo-Kenova West Virginia.  

Dan has also been selected to umpire in the 2009 Big League Baseball Southern Regional Tournament taking place in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  Good Job Guys!!!
